Cheers for the tips
I can't wait to try it all out,I was going to go for an xcube2 but I like kanger stuff and was drawn in to buying the kbox200 in shiney red, currently down as a 2 cell mod but have read it's impossible to get to 200w on just 2 cells? Maybe it will be a 3 cell when it comes out??
I will just have to stick to my subox for now, still a nice vape at 0.5ohm but I'm ready for the next level now

I would look at it a little different, think vape time at more than double your getting now. Anything over 80w is hard to sustain........the heat gets ridiculous, never mind 200w
Yes 3 cells or 3 lipo cells required for over 12v , not many use that kind of power and unless your building monster vertical quad builds for drippers on 100% VG for cloud chasing............its pointless.
I have a few dual cell mods and it is refreshing getting through the day without cell changes, take to work, use during the day, then at the evening without messing about . So i would not let it put you off tbh, i would bite but have enough for now

Haha I know what you're saying ven, think I will need a monster build to make the most of the kbox200,I got a little carried away tbh but fancy a multi cell mod.
The did have the kbox120 in stock but when I saw the 200 on pre-order and a cheaper price of £46 I was hook line and vaper
Might look into a tank that will take some nice quad coil builds, would the v3 be good for this? Any others you can recommend?

Quick update, buy one........simple as that, its awesome and user friendly, the top side fill is simplicity at its best. The vape flavour is well up there with any of the better tanks.......if not surpassed.
Must buy imho for £26
Just in case here is a link for the v3 i bought and where from

Its an RTA so rebuild-able tank atomizer, basically what ohm coils you fit will determine if it works. The mini is good down to around 0.5ohm(sure some have managed 0.3ohm,any less and shows " no atomizer"
You need to fit the coils, so fitting 2 a 1.0ohm will give 0.5ohm and yes it would work. Fitting 2x 0.5ohm for example would be 0.25 and too low to read.
You need a platinum mini to go with it
Really loving this little set up, might get another v3 tank in black this time.....

For quads ideally a dripper, huge base to work off but not ideal for a daily.
One thing with the 0.23ohm dual build at 25w, the juice is not going at any alarming rate...............quite frugal compared to the tfv4!

Yes, pretty much most tanks will work with the platinum now as it reads lower ohm, the TC is separate in the mode selection. Pressing 5 times as you know locks it or unlocks, 3 quick presses enters the TC side . I still dont bother with TC, just old school W mode on all my mods.
I very highly recommend the OBS V3 when the time comes to getting an RTA, its awesome!!!! really is a great tank.

Yea ok but you will need ni200 coils as well. Yea I haven't tried TC either yet, just wondering if it's worth getting a ni200 coil pack as well.
I'm going to stick with a standard/RBA tank for now, best of both worlds, although i know the RBA/RTA only tanks do a slightly better job, but for me its more of a faff, i just like to plug and play with bought coils Think i will get a uwell tank, as it gets rave reviews and the platinum mod, plus a pack of ni200 coils to try out the TC.

You wont look back...........
Crown will keep you happy anyway, awesome but of kit and just £14 in black at UKecig.......hope i have not cost you any more money

Least its something to look forward to! I have lots of bits coming, mainly to work to hide from the misses though
Yes, i have used it now 24/7..........well ok 18/7 and i cant fault the v3. The top side fill is ingenious but so simple
I mean
Split second later
No spills, no mess, just fantastic!!!
Base is as easy as can be with grub screws rather than little screws. This allows a thicker gauge or clapton wire with ease come that time...........it will happen and be glad of it!
Easy to work with base
As most coil legs are not always at the bottom(one top coil and one low for example). I use a top one side and bottom on other post, visa versa on other side
What i did find is with the coils close the ohms were very low, tweezers and opened up a little = higher ohms and a 0.27ohm read from dual coils(before it was 0.1~ and a tad too low for the mod.
Hopefully my black one will be here in the next day or two(maybe today who knows) and will sit on my black sigelei mod or vt60 mini

That Platinum K-box is pretty high on my new mod list, still got a thing for the Nebox but V2 might be wise. Won't be long until my iStick and Subtank are a year old, Subtank is a bit Triggers Broom but still does it for me.

Must say I'm looking forward to trying the new tanks out
The kanger mini I have is a great set-up but I use it for work and play,it's getting a bit grubby now so need my new mod to come so I have a nice one for best
Just need to order a load of battery's now, decided on the Samsung 25r's but I can't track norb down and am a bit reluctant to order from an unknown seller.
I will see if I can get hold of Norbert after the holidays.
I've ordered a couple of sigelei battery's from myepack for now and might order a few more while the discounts still running.

Yes could be from the holidays, he sent me some cells and a charger about a week before xmas.
Goes to check shop........
"Dear customers, have a Marry Christmas,we are on holiday but will try and stay in touch via the eBay message centre. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or requests you have. Thank you, Norb."
tbh if need quick, any reputable vape shop should be fine. Might be early Jan if Norb is away for new year.
If cells for a dual mod, just make sure matched(bought as a set and use together, no mixing with older cells etc).

Cool cheers ven
I did a little reading and like you say, using matching, same charge cells is needed for the dual mods so I will get a few ordered mark em up and charge at the same time for when the new one comes
Out of interest what wire are you using for your coils?
I've got kanthal wire which I'm using for the kanger mini but also bought some nickel Ni200 wire to go with the new v3.
And Clapton for the uwell.
Be nice to see if there's much difference.

Because of the larger wire the clapton does give more flavour production, however for me its hard to tell and by adding more % flv can do that.......
The clapton wire will not get on with the crown RBA due to the small screws and gauge of the clapton wire. However fine for the v3, its an awesome base to work on with the bigger holes and grub screws to secure the coil legs with.
I tend to use 26g or 28g, former i prefer tbh. Higher g the thinner so 30 or 32g for example will glow instant when heating up(no wick when testing an even glow from centre to outer sides).
26g being a little thicker just seems a little easier to work with for me.
I have 1m of clapton to use yet,1m of twisted wire and *beep* loads of A1 kanthal .
I have found when my coils are too low or too high for dual builds, by opening or squeezing the gaps between the coils helps alter the ohm. Saves re-making...........still for £5 or so its a lot easier to buy them made and still have a few bags left over to use. Various legs, some same way, others opposite legs to suit different decks. Beauty of having a kit is knocking them up to suit when struggling.
Some RBA's need smaller coils than the ones i have bought for the tfv4 for example, if it was not for the kit, using the 2mm jig, wrapping the wire around i would have been stuck!!
IMO the claptons and larger gauge are better for dripper type tanks or ones with large bases to work on. I did manage to build a dual clapton in the tfv4 base........boy was that a pita and 30mins of faffing..........Trying to get the thick wire under the screws(more generous than the crowns RBA screws!!!) was very testing. Had to be on their last thread to fit under, amount of times the piddly little ******* flung off and me trying to find..........arggghhhh!
So i play safe, 0.5ohm coils work nice in single bulds, dual they work out at 0.25ohm which i like too. I find lower than 0.2ohm requires quite a bit more W=drains cells quicker and a more .........well harsher vape/cloudier so to speak.
Just what works for you, wont take long to find your perfect vape and the crown and v3 (and tfv4) are pretty much the best 3 tanks out there imo and many others too.
What you will love other than the side/top fill of the v3 is the base design with the wicks. Leave a little more than normal and push down into their 4 wells. Its a cracking design, no leaks.........just works
Notice holes for well
Then wick pushed down and into.....

Nice one!
Didn't realize the v3 had 4 wells, must work really nice with the dual coils.
I've got use to using the jig and makes it so much easier to work with, just building standard 0.5's with 24 gauge A1 atm and am really impressed to how much better the kanger mini RBA is to the occ coils.
I have had a go with the Clapton wire and built a nice one for the crown but would be impossible to get 2 in there lol
Itching to try a dual coil set up so the v3 looks a perfect tank for me

When you build, make sure your coils are close to the posts, check the outer coils are a tad in from the base part. When its fitted(the base and deck is all one) to the chimney upper tank part, it obv cant touch, so just remember that bit to save tweaking once together.
I find around 30w ideal for the dual 0.28ohm build, fantastic tbh and probably the most or on a par with the tfv4 for air flow. The crown has a slightly tighter draw for example ,the v3 is like.........well as airy as you can get! Of course you can close up to tighten the vape if thats your thing. I just like the choice.....
Hole picking time(well there has to be one) and its only the drip tip, size is fine, just clear drip tips are not for me due to annoying condensation. No deal breaker by any means and i just stuck the tfv4 adjustable tips in.........works a treat and looks oe.
Look forward to your impressions, hopefully they will be surpassed as mine were.
