Its not ideal, but I'm aware of thieves cutting chips out of dogs to avoid them being identified.

well each to their own ,if you don't like tattoos then don't get one I personally like them so I went for what I wanted. didn't take 7 hrs as expected so that suited me. if you don't like it I don't care

I now have a Guardian Angel looking down over my two little girls (doves).

A smile will be the least of the worries when it's old and wrinkly - she'll be looking as if she's had a stroke!!

It's the first time (and probably the last) I've ever agreed with Mr Lewis. I really couldn't care less what men do to themselves but an otherwise beautiful woman who desecrates herself with tattoos is a pitiful sight. She limits herself to the lower orders for the rest of her life, because few decent men would poke her with a stick

So you get to decide what's beautiful and control her actions...go on, define 'lower orders'...I dare you

The dare was about you confirming your limited experience\outlook on life and therefore allowing people to attach a value to your thread input. I guess I shouldn't be surprised you missed the nuance

And as I supposed you were one of the marked masses I was not expecting subtlety from you, nuances usually being the preserve of the intelligentsia. My apologies if I am addressing an educated man

Hahahaha you give me heirs and graces; intelligentsia I am not, I just know that judging by appearance is the wrong thing to do...it's the smallest step away from bigotry

So my girlfriend will be in the lower orders of society for the rest of her life then? She has half her leg and all up her side tattooed, you wouldnt even know it was there unless she is wearing something skimpy and revealing.

So how would this limit her? prospective employers would never see it.

So am I a lower class of citizen because I am dating this girl? I have my own business, house, cars etc and consider myself to be doing pretty well considering I'm 24. So am I a lower class citizen?

The only lower class citizen here seems to be YOU. Judgmental bigots are akin to racists and homophobes. Im sure everything you do isnt to peoples liking, but we aren't sat here judging you. So jog on

Ah, after heirs and graces I'm removing them - I think that should be 'airs' not 'heirs'! And I'm no bigot, I just don't like people who are not like me and who don't share my views! And is the condemnation of bigots not in itself a form of bigotry? Woohoo

You are spot on, see I told you I wasn't intelligentsia that lot would never make a school boy error of that nature

I didn't condemn anyone and I certainly didn't say I dislike anyone...I only replied because your post was both offensive and ignorant.

Cheers, I'll be a little more fond of it once it runs...

My views on tattooed women may be offensive to some, but harsh truth to others. But I am not ignorant, just dismayed by women who deliberately ruin their appearance...

But as an aesthetic it's purely down to personal taste so you need to be prepapred for people to disagree with you, particularly if you haven't penned it in the nicest of ways.

Let me explain my use of ignorance; you say that women with tattoos limits herself to the lower orders for life. This is not true, so if you made the statement you must believe in it therefore you are ignorant of the truth...

thanks mate, your the only one who has actually made the effort to comment on my tattoo design and meaning (to me).

A simple question was asked about how long those who have tattoos sat for that is all, personally I couldn't give a toss if you like them or not.. if you don't then why are you on this thread? I didn't ask if you like them or not, what you think of them in general, wether you think women look good with tattoos.. this is what pi**es me off about some threads on hear.. simple questions are asked to those who it applies to and then pages of utter crap, arguments and irrelevant replys that don't even relate to the original post. ive posted my design, its for me and a personal meaning for me, if you cant post a decent comment then jog on! the end!

That angel/ arm tats very cool and detailed! Where do you go!
People are like marmite with tattoos! But have strong opinions on them when they don't have them! I bet there's a big money earner in their company with a tattoo/tattoos but they just don't no ! Too judgemental this day and age! Tattoos are art just on the body!
A lot of women now a days have visible tattoos!

What's the view of piercings then? Making holes as you'd proberly put it in there bodies??

Think piercings are generally thought of as less permanent, i.e. you can pop the ring/bar etc. out whenever, whereas with a tattoo you can't.

I use to be into body art/modification and had several piercings around my body. I wouldn't say so much I "grew up", more grew out of them. Kept one though, and nobody can see that unless I take my underwear off
