I have a resonated centre section.

Hoping it takes the edge off, I've not paid for it yet. This is just a tester lol.

Blitz will be fine, twin scroll sound doesnt drone as much as the UK cars scooby burble!!

Would prefer a more standard-ish looking exhaust though, think you got it spot on with the oem look, which is giving me idea's for my next car.

I beg to differ,I had exactly the same exhaust on my old v3 sti (nur spec R with no cats) and the twinscroll is louder. My neighbours can vouch for that.

I know about the overall look and the current cobra, there's just not enough noise from it.

I fitted the resonated centre to remove the tinny rasp, this really made the cobra quiet.

The nur spec is just an itch I need to scratch, let's face it I'm not going to any more shows with it, Nd I can keep the cobra too,

Well the nurspec was loud, so that's going back to its owner.

What's a bit quieter with a deep sound, the miltek was too drone/raspy

I know,

The japspeed down pipe is tinny and rasy not pleasing to the ear, so I had a custom resonated centre section made, this stops that but makes the cobra sound like a prodrive, while the look of the Exhaust is perfect, the sound isn't.

The miltek was UN resonated and just bland, the nurspec nice and bassy just that bit too loud, hoping the vortex to be the middle ground.

Personally I think the genome is over rated, don't see the attraction thats why i sold mine. looks good with STI embossed on it mind.

You need a fujitsubo, quality exhaust system.

Genome or Prodrive, raspy above 4k rpm and sounding like a V8 on tickover the former, burble the latter.

The beauty of the Genome is that it is quiet but above 4k rpm it sounds like a jet engine on take off.

Yeah he tried to sell it me also, when I went to pick up the forum members name was on the box, the actual owner said he was ready to send it and then they guy cocked on it.

It's in good condition, the only thing that lets it down is the flaking writing.

For me I wanted one to finish the look of the car, after getting messed about on here and from a guy over in Ireland I gave up, and looked T the nurspec and vortex, I actually was going for the vortex this evening when I checked eBay

Excuse the size of the pic, posting off my phone, will change in the morning.*

Generally good condition bar the letters.*

So cleaned the box and removed the tar. Then prepped the letters and masked up loosely.*

Mixed some colour up and sprayed on.*

Then with 2000 paper I blocked the colour back, and then gave them a coat of clear.*

Tomorrow I will finish polishing it and bring the lacquer edge back too.*

Result so far*

Jake.*
