Nope. Upgraded my poo wrx brakes to sti brembos a long time ago. Far superior.

Bear in mind though, if you decide to do that too you will need 5mm spacers for Rota grids to clear brembo calipers.

4 pots? With a descent pad and disc combo they should be satisfactory for the majority of drivers and at your power level, give Alyn at AS Performance a call/email (he dosent mind replying to e-mails or pm's ) , he has a wealth of knowledge and will point you In the right direction and give you a very good price I'm sure.

Just fitted 4 pots with Ian Godney grooved discs to the RA, compared to the 2 pots it's like dropping an anchor out of the boot.

But an RA only weights 1190kgs .

Fluid age/type, pads, discs, tyres etc will all effect the braking. A Scoob weights a bit more as well.

Yeah i upgraded mine to four pots a few years back now, i do get them to fade now and again but only after sustained abuse over the likes of llangynidr mountain or epynt. On relatively cheap mintex pads aswell.
The weight diffence from newage to classic is circa 200kgs from
Memory (excludinng spec c's etc ) , and im not familiar with desent newage setup's so thought it best to refer jamie to alyn who is always keen to help and responds/calls back when he says he will. :-)

Thanks boys I will give Ayln a shout because mine are terrible, thery worse than my old civic type r brakes and they were pretty shocking.

Williams.84 - the plasti dip is really good once you get the nack of it. In terms of prepping I literally washed the car down, clay barred it to remove any contamination etc then dried it. I masked off the windows, wheels and trim. I applied two very light coats of plasti dip then 8 fairly heavy coats. This was done using the aerosol cans and as I said I couldve done a better job im not happy with the bonnet or roof but im redoing them before japfest.

I bought my cans from a company called cardipuk. They sell them for £7 a can instead of the plastidip £16 a can and they are UK based so delivery within 2 working days

Welcome to S-net mate.

love the look of that in matt black plasti dip. Must have took you ages doing it with those small aerosol cans lol.

It might have been more cost/time effective to get paint spray system such as Wagner or Earlex type machines and bought the paint in 5L containers.

Plus everyone beware of using plasti dip on dodgy repaired body work as my mate discovered the hard way after he had done a bmw 320d (e90) for this lady in hot pink lol.

When she removed the pasti dip of the car , for some reason just a week after having it done. The dodgy filler job door repair she had done from someone else, came of with the the dip lol.

Which then she tried to take court action against my mate for, that he caused this damage lol
