Scooby Shoot out (elvington)

Scooby Regular
I launch around 4k riding the clutch for 20 foot as to not bog down. I might be braver next time and go for a 6k launch, I launched on the 20th at 500rpm, then 2000rpm, 3000rpm and finally 4000rpm and each time I knocked around 0.2 off my time.

6K and side step the clutch is how it should be done.....
Unless you own the car !
dunx
P.S. Higher profile tyres may help you slightly if you hit limiter close to the line, whilst not slowing the launch by much.... or use silly small very low profile tyres to alter the gearing ?

Easy to do, if you have enough power.
It's funnier in the pissing down rain, mate and I launched at SSO in it one year. Sat side by side going nowhere for a second or two.
