Tempted to get some flaps for my wrx after spending ages removing road crap from the lower halves of the doors on Friday. Don't want floor draggers so I'm tempted by the rallytech ones. £80 though!

Rallytech flaps, around 95 GBP (shipping included), 4mm FIA compliant, powdercoated aluminum mounting brackets, all stainless hardware, two sets of mounting holes to raise/lower 30mm
Rallyarmor, same price, 3mm thickness (not FIA), no mounting brackets.
UK brands (performance creations, scoobyworld) around 125-140 GBP, 3mm thickness (not FIA), not sure about the brackets or hardware.......

Yea sorry, In my view fanny flaps look chivvy
I don't really have a problem with stone chips in an area fanny flaps would help with. I do have some nasty stone chips on my bonnet...but I'm not going to get a chavvy bonnet bra!

Anything that drags along the ground or almost drags along the ground is chav.
Most probably fitted to cars with Lexus rear lights and Baileys dumbvalves TBH.

Well . . . Bit the bullet and got myself some cheapo universal rally flaps (in black)
Found a template for the STI/pro drive flaps off of another subaru forum to trim them to shape, and some pro drive stickers off of the bay
I think it looks ok, the missus isn't too sure, but if it helps the paintwork out I don't care!

Cleaning the car it is covered in tar spots, and I want to get some black rally style flaps (black car)
I have just replaced the wheels for 18" o.z wheels as the originals were buckled to f*@! so gone from 215 to 225 and slightly wider with the offset so the spots will only get worse, but the missus has said "so we're going down the chav route then"
Personally I think impreza look good with flaps, and they serve a purpose.

not sure about mud flaps protecting the car from stone chips, its every other bugger on the road showering the car in shizz you really need to worry about.
I see too many saxo's with massive mud flaps on to ever consider it an option. Might just stick to fake roof vents and tip-ex on my tyres.
