What info is that then, from the last post he said he would be in contact shortly. Which to me would be sooner than a week...?
I'm not saying he is a bad guy and yes family before work is completely understandable.
I didn't want to say earlier because it looks like I'm talking **** of him but yes as you say call him.... I have called him many times since the post and text but obviously no answer or I wouldn't be here.

I dunno what to do. He keeps telling me to phone him, I phone him - and nothing happens.
If he's lost it, broke it, whatever - just let me know and I'll cut my ****ing losses.

John's not a blagger, he offered me some parts for free for my old impreza when I melted a valve and I gave him a few drinks to cover it. He was slow to deliver the parts and I had to chase him but it was "free" parts so I don't think that he's blagging it it's more a case that he simply can't cope. After chasing it up I did get my parts that were of no real value to him so I don't think he's a con man just someone who is struggling to keep up with demand.
I may be wrong but I just wanted to put my side across.

I don't even get answered too anymore, but I imagine he probably hates me for starting this thread.
Don't think he is a con man, just as said bit off more than he can chew and now its all come back on him.
On another note, still no progress!
Post up if yours arrives

Will call him tomorrow morning, but other than demanding he takes it to the post office whilst on the phone with him - I've got no confidence that another call will do anything.
Come on John, stick it in the post and let's get this case closed

When it comes to paying customers hard earned money, that's not really an excuse,if that was the case why not just refund or return the turbo's with a sorry note explaining his situation, and not wait for a thread to pop up,and then come on with a average excuse and empty promises? How you guys can come to his defence i don't really understand,my mate has been pulling out his hair because of this situation waiting for his turbo back, frankly it's just not good enough.SJ.

I am at that point now, I've had the excuses before but now it's gone past that. I have asked for a refund ages ago, I'd wasted too much time of this turbo so I just decided it best for a refund.
Which I'm still waiting for because the turbo needs to be sold first.
I've just asked for it to be sent back now as I'd already waited over 2 months for the refund.
This is why I've had enough as you can all see when this started
I don't know what more I can do now?

If it wasn't Scotland I would of months ago, I don't plan on letting this go though no matter how far away.
Need to fabricate a business trip to Scotland or something.
Not that I need to say as I'm sure you have all guessed. NO PROGRESS as normal. I believe he must think this is just going to go away if ignored....?

I'm wondering if he was waiting out for Scottish independence so he could hide behind the Berlin-wall equivalent.
It's slowly dawning on me that I might have to write my investment off, really annoyed now - it's the whole keystone to my winter tuning goals.

Where are you based mate?
Once I'm back in the UK (Nov) we could split the costs for one of us to go to Scotland?
I'm not talking about a childish act of aggression but if John is genuinely just unorganized or too busy, one of us could just go collect the goods then redistribute from there?
Might be the most sensible solution.

Yeah I think that would probably be a good solution, I am based in Hertfordshire.
I took a flight to Aberdeen once and it cost me £30 so I imagine a return would be around £60. So its definitely possible for us to do, if you are further North it could be even cheaper?
