He won't be selling it any time soon at 9k, it's a WRX running a decent 452bhp and will never command more than 7k hence why it was for sale for so long in the first place.

I also saw this car on eBay for £8,995.

Looks OK? But the seller seems a little on the defensive?

Why advertise a car on a specialist Subaru forum and not expect questions?

Also the description says Api tuned etc, but Finch Motorsport have rebuilt the engine, what's gone on here? Did he mention oil consumption issues!

I was considering this car as a track day weapon, but think may be a JDM STi widetrack with DCCD could be a better option, probably from Hurst cars?

This is my first post on this forum, but I am keen to glean as much insider info!

But most importantly what happen to the CAT?

That's what I love about looking for cars on this site, all you regulars will tear apart a fraud!!!
Even I saw this on eBay, and that power is tempting!!!
Still looking for a 300bhp+ car, so any pointers would be great....
I just seem to keep getting there too late for the good ones......... :-(

whenever there is a car for sale have a read through the op's old posts.
Problems, trackdays, 1/4 mile action never get mentioned. Also 9 times out of ten you will see what they paid for the car.Remember every car has a history some good some bad.

If I felt the car was proper sorted and not about to demand deep pockets in the near future then even at 8K I would have been tempted, as its on paper allot of car for the money. But I get the distinct feeling the car comes with baggage and will probably end up with another rebuild before you know it.
