If I were Romanian, I wouldn't want to move in next door to Nigel Farage

You cannot stand up to a proper debate, once cornered it's just insults and slogans

Martin, you're so very fond of telling us how bad Farage is so why not tell us which way you are voting and therefore who we should be voting for.
Is it the Tories...
who are basically a bunch of lying upper class ****s who amongst other things do little else but look after their own, have broken numerous election promises, won't give us a referendum on the EU (although keep promising they will if we vote for them) and who tried to take us into another illegal conflict based on evidence that turned out to be rubbish
OR is it Labour...
who did take us into two illegal conflicts, say little about the EU and have no intention of ever giving us a referendum, who have veered so far away from their socialist principles even the least militant of the unions want little to do with them and who have candidates (much like their front bench) who are so incapable I wouldn't trust them to feed my cats let alone represent us in Europe.
OR is it the Lib Dems
who... will do whatever it takes to get a position of power even if it means selling their soul to the devil or Cameron (same thing really) and giving up in every major policy they claimed to stand for!
And YOU wonder why people want some sort of change? There is a saying ...'better the devil you know', the Tories, Labour and the Lib Dems prove that saying wrong!
Oh and it's xenophobe with an x

If I vote which is unlikely, then it will be Tory - but honestly the choice before the electorate is appalling - that said I cannot imagine what would ever make me vote UKIP - that road leads to nowhere
oh and just to be clear I disagree with virtually everything you wrote in your inflamatory little pen-picks of the other parties - just so you don't get confused and think I was in agreement with you

The funny thing is I always thought your lefty style posts over the years were a sham. The fact you would vote Tory proves that. Not sure why you would spend years pretending to be something you're not, but that's your business!
I shall be voting UKIP as I think this EU 'experiment' has gone far enough, we need to govern our own country, once we can do that I shall worry about what form that governance takes!

Does a vote for any of the main political parties lead us anywhere, bar continuation of the same situations that we endure now?
So much for democracy!
Unfortunately I live in a Labour strong hold..I have to vote strategically to ensure they stay out.

Warren - as an UKIP activist, would you like to bring the ladies and gentlemen of SN up to speed with how many of the supposed 'hundreds of thousands' of Romanians and Bulgarians have actually arrived upon our shores since the immigration controls from those countries were relaxed?

Disagree with it all you like, you're wrong as much of it is actually fact, but no change there.

I am very socially liberal in my outlook, but I've definitely become more economically conservative as I've got older though.
I don't like the sham comment btw - you are very very wrong on that

Martin have you have said up the page you are unlikely to vote so IMO keep your nose out,if your not going to vote then its just s**t stirring.
F1 fan has said it well but getting back to the start of the thread I would like to say that I wouldn't want a Romanian family to move in next door to me. You have to get to know people first hand before you can be to critical but if given the choice between a little old lady a young family (2 kids) or a Romanian family I know who I wouldn't want.
And as far as the interviewer goes, he asked if he pulled out of London live because of a makeup issue, says a lot about the interviewer IMO. I think is just another attempt to push a politician and try and put him under pressure for a juicy story, maybe he achieved it.

Like I said I will probably not vote in this election, that doesn't mean I don't care about the issues - it mean that there a pretty poor choice out there right now.
I think the UKIP factor will make this a very interesting election from a 'political anoraks' (like me) perspective though - so I'll certainly be engaged

I see from post 36 that Martin has "thrown down the gauntlet" to me over the number of Romanians entering the country in 2014.
First off, as I told him well over a year ago, he's a troll that I have on ignore. I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt once, and he acted like a dick, so I just simply don't bother anymore. Similarly any follow up waffle he posts will also be ignored
However as a one off propaganda rebuttal, and due to the rather specific nature of the question, I can only presume he is unsubtly hinting at the figure of Romanians that was publicised a few days ago. I give a link to Mark Reckless MP who has a blog where he explains that the figure is actually meaningless due to the way it is compiled. http://markreckless.com/2014/05/15/s...leave-country/

Multiculturilism.
It all comes down to divide and conquer, we as a whole are easier to control when there is unrest amongst us, hence Great Britain is filled with non british nationals.

Where are the 'special buses' that were being laid on for all these Romanians coming here to nick our jobs and/or our wallets.
I thought 'the floodgates' were fully open?
Who would of thought these Romanians were that dishonest and untrustworthy that they wouldn't even bother to show up?
The only reason you 'ignore' is because you can stand anyone actually countering your nonsense with logic and facts - UKIP is definitely the right party for you

There are plenty of people on SN I wouldn't like living next to me, afaik none of them are Romanian.

No. They actually said that millions COULD come- but I went with their actual prediction rather than their idiotic and inflamatory marketing campaign

this thread is funny as fvck, do you people honestly think they would let us vote if it made any difference. oh and for what it's worth farage get's my vote, i just hope he buy's cvnteron a coffee when he gets in so he can wake up and smell it,the multicultural experiment has failed big time as has forced social intergration, where they force developers to build social housing next door to paying customers therefore making the sold houses worth a lot less, that is why we have a housing problem in this country, would you build 10 houses knowing you would have to almost give 2 away to the local council

Someone might want to remind Cameron of this as he is still insisting... well lying again actually.... that net immigration will be less than 100K by 2015! Unless of course he fudges the figures which of course politicians never do

Nonsense, and what are the other three spouting daily.
Farage whipped Clegg on the European debate, the votes proved it.
If you agree with him or not,he says what he thinks. He don't dance around the subject/question.
