About links, you just copy and paste them here, Chris JT. About pics, just stick their link between
Hope this helps.
Edited to add: Just one pic link at a time between . You may put quite a few pics up in one post, but as I say, just one pic at a time between those two

How about you take your own advice and prove to me that the UK does not have good standard relative to the rest of the world. We all know that the UK has good standards, what is your point or are you just trolling? do you just like to annoy people? maybe you were bullied as a child and this is your release.

Anyone who actually questions your nonsense is a troll - good logic
And all this from someone who's only been here for 5 minutes

Is that all you've got? - there are 28 countries in the EU who according to you are ignoring EU law - and you've found 2 examples (one of which is over 30 years old!), come on there must hundreds, surely??

Anyways, to start the ball rolling I belive I saw something written anecdotally once that stated UK safety standards for motorcycle helmets were actually considerably higher than those required by the EU.

I believe midwifery is better in the UK (certainly compared to France)
but I believe the EU had/has better water quality standards and better car safety regulations/standards (euro ncap)

It's quite the opposite actually. Go to any 'working class' area in London and if you see a well dressed, confident and fit looking wimmin she will be an immigrant. Our own indigenous standard is one of morbid obesity, chain smoking, tattoos and an ill fitting velvet sweat suit with manky looking fake ugg boots.

I can't reel of a load of info and facts from the net but have spent my life with my eyes and ears open to the people that are around me.
Anyone who is going to vote UKIP is also supporting what I am saying that the UK has high standards despite the the EU .
I know that you will all start to ask for evidence (it seems to be the SN way) but unfortunately I don't record every bit of info I see or hear.
I am sure people will start to rip my post to bits and edit bits of my post to then in turn use against me but why is there such a need for anybody to prove the standards of the UK. Its all around you, from the quality of the SN elite and your ability to talk people down(me ) to your wife that is able to work and get equal pay and rights (maybe a bit more work to do yet) the food you eat on your plate to the the millions spent on charity home and abroad.
All a can say is that I listen to the people I respect from people on here to family members and more and am able to understand that this is a good country to live in.
If you don't think the UK has a good moral code and a good standard of living why do you choose to live here. There is a LOT of room for improvement, I know, but we could be a lot worse off. Instead of attacking me why don't you support the UK, its in part made up of you and your family past and present.
P.s I am not saying you don't support the UK but think that your efforts would be best used to support the UK not attack someone who does.
Oh, just thought of a high standard in the UK , the way we drive. It may not be the best in the world but its up there. See I am getting there slowly, by this time next year I may even have a full list of things.

Chris, for what it's worth I agree with you. I think despite all our problems and issues the UK is a wonderful place to live. To continue to progress as a country we need to constantly critically look at ourselves. However there are some on here that constantly moan about this country as though it is one step above living in a jungle.
When I've mentioned this in the past the moaners have thrown a hissy fit, they insist on their right to constantly moan and berate this country in every way possible.
I agree that in many ways (but of course not all) the UK has very decent standards and actually that even applies to our politicians. There I've said it, even our politicians! I say that because you need to live or try and do business in many parts of the world ie middle east, Russia, Africa, India etc to see what corrupt politicians are really like.
For those that think we are a basket case I have to ask the question, why do you stay? Use the open borders and go live anywhere you fancy in the euro zone. If you don't fancy the euro zone but if you have a worthwhile skill/education you can go to Australia, USA etc.
If you don't have a worthwhile skill well then tough sh7t, you should have tried harder at school.

He said "the UK has very decent standards and actually that even applies to our politicians".
That is just not true!
If there are two people, one has stolen a million and the other has stolen ten thousand are they both not thieves or is the latter a person of 'decent standards'?

I do agree to a certain extent that politicians in the Middle East, Africa India etc maybe are more corrupt than our own, I think that's down to the uk and USA politicians are better at covering up their bad deeds than third world leaders who don't care, our politicians have more to loose and would be a much bigger story than other lesser country leaders corruptions.
Our planets politicians and leaders(who in effect run the earth) are all corrupt, look at the lives they lead compared to us peasants, in Africa children are starving and dying on a daily basis, the leaders live like kings.
In India millions of children are homeless, look at the leaders living in palaces.
In England and America, we struggle to pay the bills, lots of stress related deaths and suicides over debt, look at our leaders and influential people living the life of Riley and only getting richer.
Our world leaders have us by the ***** and there is not a thing we peasants around the world can do to change it, corruption, lies, mass murder, money control, the banks, medicine, media, immigration, multiculturism, racisicm. it's down to them.

I really haven't the time to do what you can also do, and trawl through YEARS of news reports for evidence. Suffice to say it's there. IF you can refute it, do so.
Here's another for you:
For AT LEAST the last ELEVEN years, the French government have been charging TVA (VAT) at only 5.5% on renovations to properties, carried out by French-registered artisans. That's on the work and the materials. Their normal rate of TVA is 19.6%.
EVERY year, Brussels tells them it's illegal and they mustn't do it.
EVERY year, they hold their hands up, say, "Sorry, it won't happen again...", then forget all about it and put it back on at the same rate again.
YOU go online and look for others. They will be out there and not hidden, because the other states don't give a ****..they do what suits them and their citizens...just like WE should.

I've listed just two, yes......the fisheries one was the first to make me sit up, the last one was one of the biggest, and involved the ECHR as well.

A little off topic maybe, but its the same with this CPC that came in from Europe,if you haven't got 35 hours training by September 2104 you can no longer drive heavy goods vehicles, guess what.Holland have put it on hold for two more years,Germany,Belgium,France, have basically said we ain't doing it,but good old UK are having to do it.currently is hundred thousand drivers in the UK they haven't got the CPC pass.i asked a vosa inspector 2 weeks ago how is it going to policed given that other countries in Europe are not doing it.He gave big sigh and said, will be random checks on foreign drivers at the ports etc.i said yeah as if that's going to work.

And then if we take the whole post in context, he actually says
"I agree that in many ways (but of course not all) the UK has very decent standards and actually that even applies to our politicians. There I've said it, even our politicians! I say that because you need to live or try and do business in many parts of the world ie middle east, Russia, Africa, India etc to see what corrupt politicians are really like".

However, using simple kogic the justification does not stack up as it leaves room for the UK politicians to still be corrupt as long as they are less corrupt than those of the other countires he mentions which therefore renders the former statement to still be untrue which as it happens is actually the case with the UK politicians!
Hope that helps

The UK ACCIDENTALLY broke those laws. And WILL pay any fines levied.
The other states routinely ignore the laws, rules, rulings etc unless it suits them/their citizens.
You KNOW this is true, what are you arguing for?
NB: the one and only time a UK government stood up to Europe was when Lying Labour foresaw the end of the revenue stream from speed cameras. They basically let it be known that unless the ECHR came back with a find in their favour, they were taking their bat home.
And lo......it came to pass.......just as 100% of the law professionals said it couldn't possibly. A ruling STILL not understood by anyone except the UK government.
What a shame they can't do the same with other rules/ECHR findings.
