Naaaa, doubt it football is bigger than religion in Brazil. Even if they were to throw a game it woulden be a drubbing like this, this will sting national pride big time over there.

Nah, they will recognise that Brazil were woeful, but they won't have learned much about the German side as Brazil never tested them. I suppose the psychological aspect, seeing Germany on the crest of a wave may give them somethng to think about though.

I hope Netherlands beat Argentina, could make for a very entertaining final, not to mention assuring the first European win in the Americas.

 

I reckon the dutch will win tonight and the cup IF robben and van persey have a good final 2 games.

Well, I fell asleep at 8pm last night, and missed the pleasure of watching it. I watched the recorded match early this morning before work. Germany absolutely thrashed them, man! 5 goals before 30 mins, and last 4 of 5 within just 6 minutes of that half hour! What an Audi style performance by Germany!

Although I feel bad for the host country to lose so badly, but I was gutted that they did score one; right at the end. The stick puppet one with curly electrocuted hair looked so lost after the lost match, but he still thanked the Lord- good lad. I thought they would suffer with their captain banned and Neymar resting, but not that badly!

Why are Germans so good at almost every sport and nearly everything? Makes you think, doesn't it? Their goals were so neat! Their 7th goal looked the best one from where I was sitting.

Anyway, congratulations to Germany and I'm sorry for Brazil, what a quality match, and I look forward to the one tonight.

Who would you like to see in the final with Germany?

 

I certainly shall set my alarm for that.

I'd like to see Netherlands in the final. Somehow I think they could kick Germany's butt, although Arg isn't too bad either. To be honest, Arg could give Netherlands a run for their whacky beccy, so I really can't be sure. Whoever can entertain me would do in the final for me. That's why I'll miss that Brazil's stick puppet kid. I think he looks very amusing with his amazing hair and dangly body.

Now please don't tell me that the match tonight isn't between Argies and Dutchies. I'm still at work, and I haven't a clue/ I don't remember.

Right, packing up here now. I must buy some pop corns from LIDL on the way home to go with the match.

To my eyes, Argentina seems to be ruling the pitch until now. What's all that mess on the left near Arg's goal area? They need to hoover it up. I'm sure Messi hasn't made it. You wouldn't expect it to be spread around like that in an international football match.
