Indeed! 'Character' can work against you, as well. As he has displayed in these last 2 games. Woeful defending (said the expert ).
50 mil!? Hmmmn.

PSG, must be hoping Chelsea don't cash that £50 million cheque for David Luis
On his world cup performance he would not get into our Thusrday night village 11 kick about
Shocking, makes Andy Carroll seem like a good buy at 35 million

Character has its place. But not sure about his head that let off that useless header, only to put the ball straight at the feet of the opponent, and help them score their second goal. Imo no need to cut his head off, but re-electrocution may help.
Disorganised performance from Brazil on this level. Dutch scores and their scorers aside, hats off to Robben and Kuyt for their meaningful running about. Kuyt even had his head elbowed with some mighty force, but he kept playing after his gash was stapled and all! Mind you, I saw another player in another game a week or two ago when he also had his head injured and bled quite heavily with someone's accidental head butt. I was worried that he could pass out during the match, but he played the whole game proactively with little cotton wool and a fishnet over his head. Anyway, congrats to Netherlands for becoming a thirdie. Thirdie's third goal was spectacular!

lol
Not his actual head.
In my world: 'head' = hair or general face. I find the term amusing.
Example:
The wife drives me crazy - she spends two-and-a-half hours every day going to town on her her head.

Ha, Chiles is talking about having to throw away the Brazilian jerseys he bought for his nephews...
Kind of like the way England's departure went down with whole of Africa in SA then , lol

LOL I did know what you mean. I was just playing.
Let's see what happens tonight. Most this end seem to think that Germany is now invincible, but I don't trust Args to lose so conveniently. They seem to be tough cookies.

It certainly is, Duncan.
Good first half, I thought. Plenty of opportunities missed from both sides, no goal from either side, but still quite a game to keep me on the edge and not putting me to sleep. This called a quality match so far despite 0-0.
No. 13 from Germany was a bit childish for pulling and pushing that Argie.
Let's see how it unfolds for the latter half.

Wow! The German goalkeeper flew so high in the air to deflect the ball, and ended up tw@tting the bearded Argie unintentionally! That was a good show from the Germans despite the accident.
Less injury dramas so far; no big ones at all with physios coming in etc.

That Julie Walters lookalike Argie manager needs to keep away from the pitch before he gets in to play himself. I doubt his physical strength.
30 more mins. I really hope it doesn't resort to penalty shoots.
