been to the main one
Mahe - the actual "place" was beautiful (but when you have seen one tropical paradise you have seen them all tbh)
it was the surly, unfriendly, lazy inhabitants that really did it for me - a thoroughly unpleasant experience
all the bad points of the Swiss, with none of the good ones
(PS I am not big on "customer service" btw, a smile is often enough - but you got neither)
as Alcazar has posted - Barbados is fantastic (although I think the food is generally sh1te there)

IMO of course but that is absolute rubbish. You must be a typical stroppy tourist probably with a load of noisy kids in tow.
For starters Seychelles is not just a "tropical paradise". Did you bother to go around the primeval forest of Vallee de Mee or go the Marine Park or Bird Island? All memories that woold stay with you.
I got on well with the locals on all my visits there.

The Islands are for the discerning traveller so it's a shame that you seem not to fall into that category.
I used to take my kids on holiday with us.

Nothing much to do there unless one is a watersports lover.
Even though Bajan (?) food itself is horrible I actually thought the restaurants there were quite good.
Caribbean food in general doesn't have any appeal for my taste buds. I like fresh and green apple juice and tamarind juice there, though. Well nice!
One can find a nice place to do all inclusive etc. there, but if one likes to sleep in peace, make sure you don't book yourself a place on some surfing shore, because it looks nice on Google. We did that, and all bleddy night the hotel was beaten by violent sea waves to keep us awake!
