Yeah, I personally would choose the Sessanta's over F1's regardless of the price.

Well my car has finally arrived and I took this on the collection day.
It currently has Dunlop Direza Z Sport tyres on it and by the looks of it they have between 2-3mm remaining. Therefore they will need replacing very soon and I'm still lost as to what tyres to put on it.

Can anyone give me a recommendation please. I've always had Bridegstones (both RE040 and RE050A). I think they are great tyres, but want to try something else and again not sure if they'd be good on a 4 wheel drive car. They were fine to a point on a 320bhp FWD though, which says something...

I'm still undecided about what to get - the more I read the more confused I get (strange, but true). So far it's looking like the Eagle F1 A2s from Camskill

Works out at £307 delivered.

On a positive spin though, the STI is amazing! Much better than I ever thought it could be. Always wanted an EVO/Impreza. A lot of the EVOs I looked at had rust and made me think about the Impreza instead. After doing some research I wanted a white JDM blob and think I made the right choice

Hopefully see some of you at any Scoobynet arranged sessions soon.

I have re070 on one set of rims for summer use and a spare set with winter tyres on I fit from December to March usually and think it's the safest thing to do, the re070 are terrible in the snow and my excess is more than a spare set of tyres

Hi Salsa-King! I'm only about 45 minutes from Litchfield, but have plans this weekend and next so can't make it. However, I'm looking for events any time after that. Was thinking either Mallory, Donnington or Silverstone.

Cheers Joz, I've heard good things about the ultra high performance PS3 and will consider these as well. Found some up-to-date reviews here and here.

PS3's and super sports are two different tyres.

Take this example, I had PS3's all round on an AMG Merc. as I got them seriously cheap.
I won't be putting them back on again, and as the backs have since been replaced, you can take a guess at what with

Ah, I assumed the SS was their latest 'flagship' tyre(?)...

But, going by the above, am I to believe it actually went:

PS > PS2 > SS > PS3 ?!

Totally agree. If it weren't for the tramlining (I had several sets of 235s) I'd have them again ... especially at £80 a corner ... as much better than Sessantas and Goodyears and Toyos ... all IMO of course

But, absolutely dreadful in damp greasy conditions.

I'm with Dazza. I use RE070 for Summer and Winter Tyres on my other rims November till April.

They are awesome tyres and O.E> both for the Sti Wide tracks and also the mighty Nissan GTR. Very stiff sidewalls and a bit noisy but grip levels are high and wear reasonable.
