we just flew to murcia with them last week, you can check in 7 days before your flight where you will be allocated a seat , you won't get to pick them though.
As for boarding passes just use an internet cafe thats what most were doing but weren't a problem for us as we paid to choose our seating

You pay your money you take your choice, obviously you need to understand what you're getting before committing - a bit like shopping a aldi. Etc
If you time it right to avoid taxes you can get to other side of Europe cheaper than a bus trip to dorset
I really don't understand the whingers

we managed to get a return flight to bremen for 2 adults £19.98 all in.
10kg each is more than enough for a weekend away

Its not the seats I care about its the boarding passes, if you don't print your own they charge £70 for each boarding pass at the airport.

It was proved a few years ago on Mythbusters that the fastest way to board an aircraft is by a "grab whatever seat you can" method. The allocated seating method of boarding was proved to be the slowest.
Ryanair stated that they listened to their customers (really???) and have introduced allocated seating because its what the customers wanted. Obviously it was introduced purely to increase their profits.
I fly with Ryanair to Malta about 4 times per year. I've never had a problem until the allocated seating started. I certainly won't be paying extra for a seat.
To compensate for the extra boarding time, they have increased the journey time by about 20 mins to make sure they still arrive "on time".

Riotair and Sleazyjet gotta love em, you get what you pay for. Love the tight asses that pay £40 for flights to Spain etc. when it cost almost three times that for a train from Glasgow to Birmingham one way and moan about a few hidden extras.
When ever I use them I am just glad they never skimped on fuel and flew the last 200 miles with the fuel light on. All kidding aside usually delay free because of tight turnaround times.
If it wasn't for the likes of them BA would be charging the earth.
