I'm surprised blocking a pavement in a residential area isn't an offence.

I'm on my phone and so threads are quite hard to navigate, so please excuse the obvious stupidity of this question, but can someone remind me why letting his tyres down and reporting him to the authorities with their 'suspicions' is more preferable than having a friendly word with a neighbour?

I'm amazed this thread got more than two replies. One serious answer of 'talk to him' and one comedy answer of 'burn his van to the ground'. The fact it's turned into a three-pager...

You need an operators licence to carry your own goods too, but the requirements are less stringent and the disc will be a different colour.

The Traffic Commissioner will still act if they break the rules though.

I'd rather look at that than a Caravan. On the other end of the street where I used to live it seemed a collective of residents decided to try and beat each other at getting the biggest caravan possible on their drive. The street started to look like a bunch of pikeys had set up camp there.

If it was a caravan I wouldn't be able to see it , its nearly twice the height.
