Allowing teams to run whatever compound of tyre is a good thing.

I'm in two minds about refueling - it will either turn the race into sprints between pit stops or just add a dangerous element to pit stops in between fuel saving stints.

They can't get rid of DRS until they fix cars running close to each other. Not sure how though. Reduce front wing elements?

I think adding one customer chassis would help lower teams. Adding a "spec" engine - but not forcing new teams to use it (which is what happened before and why we got HRT etc and not Prodrive) will never happen as its likely to create a B class which top teams would veto (don't want works cars being beaten or punted off by a customer)

Refuelling will make the cars faster due to lighter loading, but limited again by tyre wear. I think it will have about as much influence as fitting titanium skid plates - all show.
The cars are too dependent on aero performance. Give them better tyres, strip the aero down to a minimum, and fit manual gearboxes.
And get shot of the batteries.

I agree, but sport in general is just going nuts with money, and I don't really see how it can be sustained.

Survey done.

Gutted for Lewis, given the faultless 21sec he pulled out.

Although to be fair, Lewis just said in the conference that HE, and not necessarily the team, assumed Nico and Seb were both pitting, and asked to come in himself. However, the team should've realised what was going on regardless, and overruled.

...Regardless of the ifs, buts and maybes, whichever way you cut it, it was an epic Mercedes own goal. With Lewis being the biggest loser of all.

As always with Mo-nar-co, spectacle over substance.

...Including the gorgeous Princess.

You've got to be a pretty hardcore fan and/or have nothing much to do with your time to sit through the races these days. If I watch at all I generally check if anything interesting has been happening up to about 3/4 of the race through, and if so watch the highlights, but otherwise I don't bother.

If Ferrari make some strides in performance and can compete with the Mercs then things might get interesting, but that's probably more wishful thinking than anything.

I think you're being baited F1.
Surely nobody could be so dumb as to perpetually complain about the lack of interest generated by a TV broadcast, and then sit there watching it.
Even on scabbynet.
