All this talk of drivers leaving Mercedes, plus who should go where.
Firstly, on July 16, 2014 Mercedes and Rosberg announced an extension of Rosberg's contract.
Are Mercedes going to kick him out? I doubt it very much. I don't recall anything saying Lewis has yet extended his contract.
If the two drivers collide and things get uglier perhaps there will be some movement but rule number one for an F1 driver is: “never give up a winning car”.
Secondly, I believe that the driver market all hinges on one man - Alonso. There will no doubt be an announcement at Imola, in two weeks, concerning Ferrari's drivers for next year. One man, who is very much "in the know" has made the following comment:
Is that going to be Vettel going to Ferrari in place of Alonso, followed by Hamilton to Red Bull?
The off track action will be as exciting as the on track action.

Contracts can have buy outs.

If you read it carefully, you will see that it says Alonso has clauses, which if Ferrari aren't meeting, allows him to look elsewhere.

Highly unlikely as I doubt you know enough about me to determine if I'm even likely to be married.
The reason that car looks the way it does is purely to conform with current FIA regs whilst trying to attain the greatest aerodynamic benefit and efficiency, and in my opinion does not make for anything other than a pig ugly car. They have looked far more sinuous and racy in years gone by when regulations have permitted better designs.
Beauty is, after all, in the eye of the beholder, just ask Mrs. Blue.

And Raikkonen arguably out drove Alonso at Spa.

Sounds like FIA may clip rosbergs wings anyway, banned for a race for deliberately causing a collision maybe? don't they hand out stop and go's for accidentally causing one?
Did he deliberately cause the collision? yes, he admits he put his car in a position that another car had the right of way. so was deliberate and he should be punished.
Agree that mercedes are waiting for the FIA to punish and not doing it themselves, they are in a dodgy position though, rosberg was bang out of order, but are mercedes gonna punish the championship leader in any meaningful way? unlikley

As much as I have always followed and supported Ferrari, I wouldn't blame Alonso if he left.
It is totally unacceptable that the Ferrari power unit is so far behind the Mercedes.
Alonso should have 5 titles under his belt by now. He IS the best driver out there in my opinion. He never has a bad weekend in terms of his own performance against his team mate. What other driver can say that?
I see him at McLaren next year alongside Kevin.
Button will retire. I'm just not sure if Vettel will stay at Redbull. Hey, he may even end up at Ferrari.
A lot of changes are on the cards for next year, contracts or no contracts!

As for Lewis, Merc will do nothing significant so he just needs to get his head down and drive and see what happens.

Iam not referring to drivers in the heat of the moment, more the calculated responses post race, team bosses and commentators etc.
