Yes, similar to Indian Monsoon, Dunk. Showers laden with huge droplets lashing down mercilessly! They looked like 1970 style bead curtains with big, tacky, oval plastic shapes hanging down.
I have my washing to dry as well, and now I'll have to use stupid dryer function, which I hate.

I forgot to add that I thought something was coming when I saw too many moths coming in through my window. It was quite hot, so I had to open my top windows. One heavy moth kept me awake until 2am with its fluttering around my ears!
Then this morning there was another little sh7tty flying insect trying to wake me up from 6am by crawling on my face. Needless to say that all of them have been killed, but that was a sign of a heavy rain on its way or me.

I reckon with this rate, we'll have to have our windows protected with mesh so that we can still welcome cool breeze, but unwanted creatures can fekk off.
