Thankfully it does and the blob replaced the abomination that is the bug.
*I own a bug
I've owned a Hawkeye, a Blobeye and two Bugeye's and I prefer the Bugeye, but anyone who states that any Impreza is a thing of beauty needs an immediate eye test.
White bugeyes are the best. Do all S202s have the Fast and Furious rear wing or is that someone's idea of an 'enhancement'?
It's the standard item for an S202, I like them, remember the S202 isn't a rally slag reproduction it's design brief was to be a fast road / track car.
I'd describe it as a road legal track car, there aren't many standard Impreza models that could be much more extreme than it.
Yep, I laughed as I thought it was a joke. I am sure it was a better car, but looks wise it was a crying shame compared to the classic iconic Impreza!
Am with u there . It may of been a better car ? May be . But looks . Come on the classic Subaru is the one to have . And with added mods & handling mod wise the classic is a better car .

Any car can potentially made made better by 'added mods', as the model range has progressed then the cars have become more capable. If you want proof of this compare the Nurburgring lap times or any of the Japanese Lap Battles video footage where you will see the classic models trailing in the wake of the newer models.
No Impreza model could ever be thought of as a thing of 'beauty', anyone who thinks they are is looking through rose tinted glasses.

I have a well sorted classic with 6 speed and it is a superb car. You can make it dance, it really is that good. .... The S202 I have as well is better Unless you've driven production special editions you simply can't appreciate how well thought out and executed they are And this is coming from a die hard GC8 fanatic !
99% of the time I would have agreed with you, however, in my old age I began to appreciate the bugeye and its uniqueness - it really has grown on me, its actually quite rare, I never see any here. Anyway cutting the blah blah I bought a Bugeye STi and I would not look back, I think it is unique, rare (here, I haven't seen one here this year) and an awesome car for the money with a few tasteful mods, Blobs however I see everywhere.
Oh yea real proper that it needs filling up with fuel every 10 miles
Dumba55 post of the week alert - owner of the least efficient 4 cylinder engined car in the world decides to pick on fuel economy to make a point about another poster's car : lol1:
The thing is, the bugeye looks disgusting in standard factory guise whereas the classics naturally look relatively good. All the cars that have been posted here have subtle mods and enhancements to make them look acceptable . Also remember that we're talking about a WRX, not STI's or S202's.
Boggo turbo 2000
That front end and spoiler...
I rest my case

yep have to agree bud. a bog (bug?) standard bugeye looks awful in comparison to a tidy classic such as yours. the headlights were the biggest cause of uproar i remember but look so much better on an sti etc with projector lamps.
I agree that the WRX Bugeye takes some getting used too, the design of the car itself is a grower but the headlamps were definite a mistake on the WRX model, there's just too much reflector / chrome behind the lens.
