Their fear of being called 'racist' is bullsh7t. It's these people who have played the 'racist' card here, before the perpetrator can even flash it; to avoid the trouble of whistle blowing regarding something as horrific as this. It was their duty of care towards those children that they didn't comply with. They need to answer why. No race is above the law.
Police and/or social workers, I refuse to buy that 'keeping your mouth shut due to the fear of being called racist' argument.
Thanks to the report maker to highlight not just the race in majority involved in committing those crimes but also to put it in black and white how these 'responsible' and qualified post holders try to save their jobs by being party to such crimes, and give such bullsh7t excuses. Baggers belief!

I don't think the town would make a difference and we have seen what happens when you put them out in the countryside.
Where I grew up in Nottingham close to the city centre there were 3 care homes and all the kids went to the various local schools, most of them were always in trouble and many of the girls went into prostitution, i'm pretty sure a lot went on to jail too. It would be interesting to find out the percentage of kids that have been in care that go on to end up in prison, i'll wager it's rather large.

Spent about 4 weeks painting it around the 'inmates'.
It was a pretty desperate place and I often think what the kids there went onto become.
Never have I had so much abuse thrown at me or stuff stolen.
And that was just the staff.

I worked in one that was at the bottom of Sherwood Rise near to the Goose Fair roundabout, in the mid 80's.

The home I worked in was actually a massive old Victorian house opposite the petrol station.

Seems it's not confined to just a certain section of the community.

In those days I lived near the Arboretum and used to go through the old train tunnel at the back of that petrol station to vic centre, climbing out was fun

I think I know the place you mean, I think it had a big garden and was one of the Watson Fothergill properties along there, did you go to Claremont?

I actually went to Haywood (now demolished thankfully!), but my then best mates both went to Claremont around 1980-85 ish.
Also used to play in the tunnel at the back of Sunblest on Hucknall road.
