But you're still crap, regardless of names etc, otherwise so many threads wouldn't just appear out of the air.
Do anybody know the name of this muppet on Facebook swap shop if he's on there?

I recently spent £550 on a turbo from asb breakers. Apparently it got delivered and signed for when no body was home? Someone forged my signature and i have no turbo. I emailed asb and he seemed he didnt want anything to do with it now im stuck £550 down and nothing to show for it.

Id avoid asb if i was anyone. Poor customer service

You need to claim with your courier company and ask them to open an investigation.

Ive used ASB a fair few times, Met him as well. he's a decent and open honest bloke in my opinion .

This sounds more like a courier problem rather than a reflection on ASB.

From previous experience. If its been signed for, the courier's dont give a ****. had a similar problem a few years ago with ****tylink, got the usual replies and they would not move. even after consulting a solicitor. There T's & C's are there to screw you over

I have called them. And told the buyer this. It was booked through third party p4d. They told me its been signed for and delivered. I explained the situation, they contacted citylink etcetc.
They told me they cant start a claim as its down as delivered and signed for. If it was lost, tracking would still be sitting as undelivered then an investigation could be started.
I cant be held responsible if someones forged his signature?

The turbo wasnt signed for by myself or anyone from my house hold. I can send yoy proof of my signature to prove this. They delivered at a time when i was working in bristol and my mother was doing the school run. Because someone signed jerkovic that means its me does it? So ill become a courier and sign everyones parcels in there name and keep them????

Ive called p4d they said there sending the city link driver around.. Told me hed be here 4x now still no show. And then they tell me to look around my area for it. Even though its apparently been signed for work that out!

No one seems to know where the parcel is and no one is being helpful so what am i meant to do?

You are supposed to refund the guy his money OR send another turbo and deal with it with the courier.

The buyer has no responsibility to chase the item and search for it, he has gone over and above what he should be doing and from what I can see you have not done enough.

Give the guy his money back or another turbo until you find the one that was sent and then he will happily let you arrange a collection for this unit. You should have insurance on the parcel for this, if not then that is again your issue to deal with, not the buyers.

This is the 2nd thread I have seen about ASB providing poor service and quite frankly I am shocked that the admin of this forum are allowing you to continue to trade given the poor service received by members on here. This is a forum for enthusiasts, poor traders should not be tolerated and let alone not reprimanded or banned for this by the admin.

Give the guy his money back and sort it out as you are legally bound to do. You can then take it up with the courier company to deal with, I recently had the same problem with a courier forging my signature etc when i got some goods from a trader on here, and I had a new item dispatched the same week FOC and they claimed back from the courier. The difference between good and shoddy traders is night and day in the same scenario........

EDIT - Just to add Mr. ASB. YES you can be held responsible, that is the LAW. You have a contract with the courier, not mr jerkovic. So the cost is borne unto you to deal with. I am unsure what the argument here is. Your argument is with the courier, not anyone else and your responsibility is to refund or replace the item.

My tracking shows delivered but I have not received my package
If you aren't home, City Link are authorised to leave your package with a neighbour two doors either side or directly across the road from you.* If you are viewing the tracking on City Link's website, you may see the letters LWN18 in the signature box.* This means 'Left with neighbour at number 18', so we would ask that you check with your neighbour in this case.* If your neighbour does not have the package, please contact us.

****ylink are a shower of ****e, driver probably signed for it himself and made the turbo disappear as he could not be asked to comeback and deliver when someone was home

Again, that is not the buyers problem, that is YOUR problem to take up with the courier and in the mean time refund or replace the item until the original is found.

The courier company will then send the buyer a form to fill in and confirm he has not got the item and they will then go back to you and sort out the insurance.

This should not have got this far and as a company you should not be treating people in this way, it is totally unfair.

EDIT - And I should not be having to tell a reputable trader this.... Any other traders are aware of the rules and protocol, so do the right thing and sort it out properly.

Other traders do this and cannot be praised highly enough, even if it does cost you a bit of money it might save some face on here and get your more trade in the long run, I can say 100% right now I will not be buying anything from you if this is the way you treat people even though the law is firmly on their side

City Link have been horrific to me, lost three Ikea desks , THREE!

I use UPS, sent over 200 parcels with them, never a problem. Little bit more expensive, but worth every penny.

I know right? three of them, those huge white kidney shaped ones.

I reckon theres a Citylink depot somewhere with some lovely new office attire.

Thankfully I got paid out £150 each time, and they only cost me £30 but I insured them to market value.

City Link 0 Trinity 1 (or 3)

I work in a stores we have 5 goods inwards where different things should be delivered .I sometimes have my name signed when courier's cant be bothered to wait five minutes or you send them to another delivery point they just walk away then ask some someone else to sign for it rather than go where they are sent.then we have some couriers that will drop in 5 places with different items, the better companies with a regular driver.citylink are useless I had two parcels delivered from a breaker by them no card put through the door then told to drive 30 miles to there depot as I should have checked the tracking status.got sender to get them sent to me again I got one 1 got sent back to sender .some couriers dont care as long as they get it signed for not there problem after that

Is it worth while becoming a driver for a courier then? If the customer is not in just sign it yourself and keep the parcel? As its been signed for?

I was waiting for an Xbox to be delivered a few years ago. I had been keeping an eye on the tracking info when one day I saw it had been delivered and signed for by no other than myself! Of course, we weren't in when it turned up. The driver signed for it using my name, put in our outside bin and buggered off. No card, no notes to say where it was, nothing. Found it later when throwing the rubbish out. Guess who? Citylink!
