X Factor WOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I struggle to watch this nowadays. I can't see past certain things. As entertaining as it sometimes is, once the crowd start laughing or cheering I notice the people sitting directly behind the judges aren't moving at all. The laughter/cheering is edited in later at moments the directors think would dramatise the show. It's all close up shots on one or two people.
It also strikes me odd for what is essentially a show of people singing well known hits, the crowd are never seen mouthing the words.
Canned laughter was a thing of the 70's/80's. Somehow this feels even cheaper than that.

Yes, I agree that it's a tailored show. It's no brain feed. For me, it's ok to have a giggle or two- nothing to be taken too seriously about it. Often it's like same sh7t different year, and that's the time one could switch over to something more engrossing that one might have recorded ages ago. I tried watching one of my recorded films Four Feathers (Heath Ledger) lately. It actually turned out to be so badly done just after first 20 minutes. I got so annoyed that I deleted it by pressing yellow button really hard!
Back on XFactor, that Elton John's "It's a little bit funny..." has been going round and round inside my head since last night's show. I give credit to this programme for reminding me of some amazing tunes.
Now I'm back to humming- "So excuse me forgetting but these things I do..."

I think like towie, made in Chelsea etc they should be made to admit to the false dramatisation before the show starts.
