...However, it's all but looking like a win for the NO campaign.
Not quite yet mathematically over the 50% threshold, but the remaining councils not expected to vote YES... Certainly not by the required amount of votes, should they do vote YES.

It always makes me snigger after elections, in interviews, how the defeated spokespersons always try to spin their view of the result into a 'positive'.

I know. In situation like this, you're lost for words. So you just have to improvise, make up some waffle and mask your p7ssed off state. Mind you, one person in dark blue t-shirt was quite straight, though. He said he was gutted, and just slated Camo and Co. for causing fear in last ten days.
Which is exactly what they did. Arrogant pr1cks that they are!
exactly! the amount of people I know had voted no because they didn't know enough!! there was plenty though for yes but no was all negative nothing positive about the vote. never mind its all over now
Absolute rubbish - they were stating facts if was the yes lot who relied on shouting loudly and changing the subject whenever actual answers were asked for. For example, I'm still waiting for the plan B to the currency issue. He didn't have any believable answers to real predicaments and was willing to gamble people's health and livelihoods on an emotive punt.
All politicians are generally as bad as each other, however, in this situation one was wilfully misinforming the easily swayed towards independence in order to probably just garner some personal glory ( he is a politician so don't ascribe any higher motives to him).
That's pretty much the way I saw it too Fat Boy, neither side had any real answers to the crucial questions, the thought of a currency union is completely laughable, how can a country be independent when their finances are controlled by another country.
I saw a lot of Alex Salmond and I didn't see him answer any questions at all. He made promises to all and sundry and as far as I could see this would all be paid for by not renewing trident. Oh and Westminster would have to give Scotland everything they wanted. Nae danger!
