Lol no mate I called them today to chase my seats up as the first ones was not the xl size , while I had them on the phone I thought I'd ask the question regarding stock etc and see if I could give them a nudge in this threads direction ,

Ah I see, so there's no bloody stock, yet they are happy to sell them on website.
What if I bought some now to be told after there's no stock. Don't you just hate the inconvenience

I know mate , after that conversation I rang around a few other stockists and was told the same dates etc , pretty poor really but once you've added them to your basket it says in very small writing pre-order on one if the sites , not good really if your handing over a few hundred of the queens finest , I pretty cheesed off at still waiting for mine due to their error but they have sorted it without a question I suopose so not ALL bad ;-)

I take it the other sellers drop ship then.

I've just had a reply back from Keane

Interestingly enough i contacted

http://www.sportseats4u.co.uk/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=4622

And they too are awaiting stick to come in by the 15th December however the can't budge on price but can do the delivery £10 cheaper than corbeau themselves which is still another saving to be had , I only rang them to see if I could get any seats sooner than I had previously been told by corbeau but was worthwhile price wise ;-)

Oh yes, I had a failed delivery date 2 weeks after order, Then a failed completion date at the end of July, heard nothing in august & was promised batch completion in early September. I'd paid for these Up front too so technically out of pocket with nothing to show. They were in stock in september at that point for immediate dispatch. Due to the cost they are extremely popular

I can understand the popularity, but it's not the service I want lol.
I doubt were going to get anywhere with a group buy, so I may place order and could be with me next Xmas then

The guys from the link I posted above seemed very confident on getting seats out as of the 15th dec and are happy to just take a holding deposit or the full amount so might be worth going down that route mate , I'm in the same boat as rob as I okaced my order a good few weeks ago now , granted the wrong size arrived in only a week but I am now sitting (no pun intended ) outbid pocket with nothing to show for it lol , they are just in high demand I guess

What did you get, you've got to share as I'm not sure I want to wait months for my order as I take it there will be a huge backlog.

P.s still no reply from matt, I'm not even going to bother chasing him up anymore. A yes or no would of been fine.

Hi, like you, no time to wait
I got these

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/OMP-TRS-TR...item5665269d03

Good value. Free side mounts. Free postage. A friend has them in his track Impreza and I have tried them out. They are nice.

I think the Corbeau look even nicer and I would suspect they are lighter. So if you can hang out for them I would ....however it all seems a bit vague given peoples past experiences as to when you would actually get them.

They look ok, but look a bit on the wide side to me? I'm a 32 waist and pretty slim.
I've had the sparco sprint V in the mx5 and they were actually very comfy (steel frame) approx £150
But yeah the corberu do 'look' the dogs dangles.

I've a Black Harness bar in it now, I took the pictures prior to fitting it, they were originally looped to the rear seats area as a short term measure. Not wise I knew but was only a couple of days
