Is 'grate' drifting when you drift over grates, like drainage grates?

No, it's when a sewer overflows, causing said grate to come free under the resultant pressure and drifts away downstream...

Kawasaki have announced a new supercharged model today, 295bhp.

Yes you're right, you cant floor it from a standing start. I wonder if the kwak would be restricted in lower gears to make it more realistic.

Some modern bikes have traction control, I'm sure that this will be the case with this one.

Plus did you know you can now buy 2wd bikes?

I take it that 295 bhp is a lot in a bike . Lol . I have a mate who has a gsx/r 1100. What sort of bhp would that have .
Like I said before I am not in to bikes but I do take my hat off to them that ride them as you are open to all sorts of dangers . I.e car drivers not using there Mirrors .
I no I would kill myself on a bike . Think I will just stay with cars and lorries & coaches.
Some drivers just don't get how much power a lorry or a coach has . I have pulled away quicker then some cars.

The latest 1000 of theirs (don't think their current line up has an 1100?) is around 182bhp. But is reasonably 'portly' at around 203kg.

But that's still getting on for 900bhp/ton!!!

But I'm guessing your mate has a much older (less powerful) vintage, seeing as it's a legacy 1100 model?

The 1100's were the old versions, pre 'w' were oil cooled up til about 92 iirc. The water cooled were bored out to 1200 and used for street fighter projects until the bandit 12 became popular and later the Hyabusa engine was/is the engine of choice.
Iirc the old gixer 11's were about 120-130bhp.
I remember reading Andy f's build thread on his power to weight and he compared his to that of a super bike.

Go to User Control Panel and select 'Edit Ignore List' on the left-hand side menu.
Oh - and then search and select the name.

The good thing is that whenever someone else quotes 'them' you see that.

In my experience you don't see even 5% of what they post, which goes to prove that 95+% of SN members don't value what that member says.

Strange - it says "EITHER way, the best way to deal with it is to ignore the person on the thread".

So surely in the worst possible scenario the best way is to simply ignore that member's posts full stop ?

As I've done.

Which is far better than members deciding that the best possible way to ignore certain SN members is to ignore SN itself - isn't it?

So my spelling is bad so what . And yes you do know and I have said before you do know your stuff . I did not say you don't own a subaru . We all do or we would not be on hear . And no I am not embarrassed about my spelling as I am deslexic & it made things hard for me at school so that's why my spelling is so bad, and black on white is the worst for me. I even panic when going into a bank lol. But I try not to let that stop me talking to members. And your right it's not a popularity contest. But I do think with what you know about the subaru you could really help some members. Can you not try and think of others before make comments about them . In away its a form of bullying. You really could make or be a valuable member to this site . Just try mate . Please

That's a good point.
The problem though (as I see it) is PR, or rather the 'public image'.

Some people hurl mud in order to bring others 'down' to their level.

We all have strengths and weaknesses and to be blunt those who prey on others' weaknesses I have no time for but in all honesty more than that, those who prey on others' weaknesses I use my strengths to er... (try to) educate.

Subarus (owners/drivers) don't race each other - we acknowledge fellow drivers.
It doesn't matter if you have a WRX, STi, Classic, Bug, Blob, Hawk or whatever - everyone waves, flashes etc.
Have you ever had a Scooby stick one finger, two fingers or shake the magic beans out of their window to you?

No.

So why should it be any different on here ???????????????????????????

The name of the game is to get u r message ova butty.

Don mattuh how, as long as peeple understand what you meen u av sucseeded.

I've never had a problem understanding what you're written/said.

I bet you earn a living, and are far better at whatever it is you do than I would be, and indeed a lot of us.

Have a look at this: http://www.dyslexia.com/famous.htm

(Btw, take the 'gift' bit with a pinch of salt, although in fairness apparently dyslexics have natural talents - http://www.scientificamerican.com/ar...s-of-dyslexia/)

Fact is, we are all God's children and overall created equally.
The saying 'some are created more equal than others' comes about only because some judge others by their own standards, and use it to claim 'superiority'.

Luckywelshchap Thank u . I am a coach tour driver . & I go way on tour to uk ,Scotland ,Europe, , anywhere up to 4days to 14, back in the day I did do 21days tour. Doing most of Europe. France, Belgium, Amsterdam, then into Germany, Rome. Then up into Spain. But the wife has stopped me doing 14/21 days tours now . The most I go away for is 6days now . I do have my HGV 1 as well . Me dad always told me to get them all as then I will never be out of work. I do like doing the day trips to Ostend & Paris they are my favourite.
The bad thing is my son has got reading & writing problems as well , but then he plays football he is 12 in March and was sinned at 10 for Hillingdon fc. And we have had QPR looking at him. Like me he can use both hands and both feet . He plays in centre midd. & he is good. When he has the ball I have to pull his shirt lol to get the ball off him. His my retirement. when his playing for Chelsea that's me done. No more work. Nice .
But thanks for your kind words mate . Anyway I have to be up at 6am so good night all
