So then get which ever of the Halfords Ultra brilliance, or The latest Philips Xtreme is on offer when you go to buy, for your headlmps.
Then if still underwhelmed get the driving lights Alcazar demonstrated in his second picture. Which replace fog lamps.

I haven't driven the car in the dark yet lol but they seem 'warmer' if that makes sense?! The HIDS weren't massively blue, just a nice cool white, good low beam performance, not as impressive on the main beams due to the scatter you get with the classic headlight units.

These the same Mickey? I'm sore needing new bulbs for winter and was actually looking for something more upmarket than what I already have.

Better still with relays on the dipped setting - a further 50% more light.

Would anybody happen to know why jdm blob hids dont come with a projector lense?
I have osram nightbreakers, but dont find them that much better than standard, have thought about a hid kit for my uk blob, but dont want to dazzle other drivers.
Would the jdm hids cause dazzle as they dont have the projector lenses?

They are not fitting some cheap chinese balasts, relays and bulbs to an already poorly designed 1990's headlight.

I went this route, the blob does not have a H4 (Dip/high beam) bulb set-up. they are two separate bulbs. Headlight dipped is H1, apparently much more accurately focused light emitted from these according to Alcazar - perhaps that's why Subaru produced the blob lamp as a reflector HID, so far I've not had any issues with other road users. My car has the levelling adjustment **** on the lower dash.

So what bulbs give the greatest light output on a classic? I have just basicbosch bulbs and my visability is shocking. Driving home lastnight in the dark and had to run full beam as i couldnt see any further than 6ft in front of the car!! Can i adjust the manual lenses too to raise them?
