RB5 - Genuine or not?

As far as I am aware all RB5's were either 'T' or 'V' plates. I have never seen any others advertised, and I did look for a long while before buying one and still look out of interest now.
For £16,500 you are being charged top money for a car that is NOT an RB5 special edition regardless of what the dealer is saying. For this type of money you could buy a very nice standard UK car and have a few extras put in to boot.
