I'm not an expert, I don't look at the reports or analyse the figures.
My experience is chatting to someone on the front line, who deals with these people day in, day out.
Sometimes speaking to the people with first hand experience can be more eye opening than reading stats that can be manipulated to suit the needs of whoever comes up with the figures.

The NSR middle class agenda spouted on here sometimes is unreal, and they seem to think the working class are brain washed by The Sun and The Star rather than what we see each day. The express or the Gaurdian wouldn't have its own agenda!
How can any statistic based on people who aren't officially here be remotely accurate?

According to some of the posts on hear it's not actually possible for UKIP to win the general election because there are so many immigrants in this country. Would be like turkeys voting for christmas.

Is a national insurance number even requested? It certainly hasn't ever been for me or any of my family.
Even if it was I can't imagine the NHS turning down a sick patient, this isn't the U.S.
An illegal immigrant that has a national insurance number isn't illegal. The same as an illegal wouldn't register to vote.
I see a chap everyday that has been in the UK for at least 2 years, he has just got a national insurance number. His girlfriend is pregnant.

You don't have to go to the doctors to be referred for an operation. I'd imagine the NHS would operate in an emergency, but there would be no direct debit set up and the patient would probably be on the next coach he unless being ill works in their advantage to be given UK citizenship.
