Have you told your solicitor that you are on the forums?

I've been advised I'm doing nothing wrong but not to get too personal and mention anything about the case in public.

He said it was ok telling people on the thread of the acts I'm taking them to court for (aslong as it's true), because I want people to know what the company are like. It's my 'personal review/experience' and I'm entitled to air it in public if I wish.

While I think the law is sharing a little too much that's his choice and we have different cases/advisers.

I hope the group continues growing and other people share their experiences. Hey if people have good experience's they are welcome to share them.....and if they genuinely are a good company with satisfied customers that will happen but so far I see no opposition, no surprise. Their own fb page only has bad reviews. Lol

There is a troll on here who posts, argues for no reason wtith no sense, then a few weeks later deletes them, he deleted 400 posts in a night a few weeks ago - so if you ask the mods, they will delete anything your brief says could be problematic in the court case

Your opinion on this thread is invalid, there's plenty of other threads/topics to moan, whine, annoy and generally irritate folk.
If people want to do something which helps get some sort of closure to their issues then all the more power to them.
Good luck and hope everything goes well

I haven't done anything wrong or have I given them anything they can use against me in court.
I have proof for everything I have said.

Lol, that's not the aim of these threads.

We're giving our honest review of this so called business, warning others and more importantly trying to attract others in a similar situation to develop a stronger case.

I imagine they wouldn't even try....but if they do, its £11k to them, I might update the tread actually with the CP price.

Wonder if I get a 'stealth' call, when the new photos go up, they will wet themselves

Well Cheshire performance have said they are watching what is said on scoobynet and Facebook and have quoted some things said, which proves to me they have seen it.
So I am asking them to come on here or the FB group and explain why they do this to people and why they think they can get away with it.

Honestly, a war of words on the internet when you may say something you regret, will only harm your chances of winning in court. Then again, you didn't take note of all the bad reviews already on the internet, so I doubt that you will take any notice of this.

Crack on as they say. I have pop corn at the ready.

Interesting thread.
I've just sat and read the whole thing. I have to say that I'm surprised that anyone would pay the overinflated prices that this mob charges. I'm a Subaru enthusiast and have been for around 13 years. It's obvious to me that the main reason for these cars being so overpriced is because people are paying the ridiculous prices for the cars. I don't care what anyone says, these cars are not worth the money being charged. I watched an old car show on YouTube recently and the blob eye STI was on it. The bloke said the car was around 27k new and wouldn't hold much more than 44% of its value at 3 years old. Why then do people think that a 53 plate STI is worth 10 grand to them today ??? And please don't mention mods. Most of the time they make little difference to value. It's complete and utter madness ! I'm looking at selling my 53 blob STI in WR blue with 47k on the clock come the spring. I'll be looking for 7k. Do I think the cars worth that much ?? No I don't, but that's the going rate these days. As long as companies like this are selling cars, they will continue to exist.
I have to agree that the legal route is the best and only route to go. As much as I think the buyer should have been much more careful with his cash. The seller has to supply a car that is fit for purpose and road legal. That is the main point here, not how daft the buyer has been. I'm sure there is a lot of people on this site that couldn't put a nut in a monkeys mouth and pay people to do all the work on their cars. Does it make them any less enthusiasts ?? I'm sure there's a lot of people on here that would miss a lot of stuff that makes a car unsafe to drive on the road.
Unfortunately, I suspect this mob will carry on selling overpriced cars and people on this site and others will continue to supply them with these cars.

Good luck with any legal action all the same !
