On a side, I know Harvey was very highly thought of on here (unfortunately he was before my time) and I got the impression from his posts that he really knew his stuff but I didn't realise he had an MBE. I have to say part of me wishes I'd known the man, he sounds like a truly interesting gent.
He was the only person I've ever met that owned a Sinclair C5. He kept it in the hallway.

Sad thing is that a decent bloke like Harvey fell for a dosey caniving bint that would buy the bulls1t spouted by these gigolo waiters in places like Turkey, just goes to show that love is blind, does prove that Karma is a bitch though.
Micky give the mrs a prod and tell her to look at the RTM's please.

Tbh it does seem suspicious, she edited the will 2 years prior (ready?) and then a sudden death? (Now somebody working in the legal profession would know to bide time and not make it look too suspicious)
I think someone who's fairly close should just inform the police of a possible crime here, just to be sure they haven't missed the suspicion.
Let's make sure she pays for each and every crime

Whilst I have met Harvey, Dawn and her son, I didn't know Harvey had daughters.

The way it is put here is that it was drawn up two years before his death

Shocking!!!!
One thing for sure is she will locked up for a long time, really hope she and her son hasn't spent everything and the money can make its way back to his daughters
I'm at DLM tomorrow getting a few bits done speaking of Harvey

What a shocking horrible story and a dishonour to someone thought so highly of.
I wish I had been fortunate to have spoken to or have met him myself.
She took a lot from him and the community, but she can't take his name or people's memories of him.

As has already been posted I think the Police should now investigate the death of Harvey as nothing would seem to be outside the realms of possibility as far as the scheming b1tch is concerned.
I spoke with him on a few occasions and bought some parts from him, he would happily talk away and give good advice plus he wouldn't let you spend money that you didn't need to spend.
A true gentleman and a real loss to the world, and in particular the Subaru scene.

She forged the will 2yrs before his death according to the reports so about a year into the marriage, add that to the fact that she was already fb friends with the turkish guy and it does smell rather fishy.

Has anyone on here any connects with the constabulary that can maybe bring the comment above to their attention. I know it all sounds obvious to us that Harvey's death sounds suspicious, but maybe to the Police they are not concentrating on "possible" other offenses, when they can nail here on "factual" fraud.

Horrible nasty cow! Coming over all miss inocent when it came to all the parts that weren't sent, pretending to be grieving. All she was doing was trying to extract as much money as possible using Harvey's good name. I hope the rightful heirs get what is left of Harvey's estate and that b1tch rots in jail

I was involved once where my dad passed away, and I kid you not, the same week 3 of his cars had made their way to new owners, so did the fire arms that he owned worth in excess of 10k The things is, she actually did get the fooking house mortgage free......

TBH It shows what a prat she is because as his wife she would have probably got the house and pension or the lions share of it, even if the house did get split 3 ways £160k and a £420k pension isn't a bad return for 3yrs of marriage especially in a place like Turkey you could live like a king. I just hope she does get a stretch in prison and the Turkish guy spends her share then kicks her to the curb.

When you're tucked up all cosy in your bed at night, spare a thought for Harvey Smith MBE from Darlington, County Durham. He is taking part in an aid convoy going to northern Albania and war-torn Kosovo in the Serbian border region, as a volunteer for Sally Becker's Operation Angel. Harvey will be driving a 7.5-tormer that will carry much-needed medical supplies and equipment, clothing, footwear and a small amount of food. Each volunteer will be raising £500 towards the cost of the trip to cover fuel and ferry charges.
