You've just said the JDM WRX ECU isn't the same ECU as the JDM STI. So it is different but can still control AVCS?

yes it is, it will control avcs but to control avcs obviously you firstly need avcs heads, the wiring and all other components too.

It's the same again.

But now the AVCS isn't on all Newage JDM WRX's?

Yup I could afford a JDM, not a top JDM, you couldnt afford a JDM, so bought the next best thing, a UK poverty spec.

Thees nothing wrong in just saying you got what you could afford, money dosent grow on trees and we all work hard for what we have

And the same way I have GTR envy, others have JDM envy.

As for RS Matt - dude do you smoke a lot of the hashish?

The End.

Yes, because I didn't know the differences between a Newage UK WRX and JDM WRX.

I'm in the know now and can cut out the habit. The Jap WRX ECU can control AVCS (in some cases?) and there is a wiper issue.

I know on older imports there were underseal and fog-light omissions.

you dont need a foglight in japan hence they dont have them, when they come to the uk then need to be fitted to pass an mot.

either fittted under the bumper etc or in the case of some imprezas its possible to swap out a light cluster and wire in the foglight.

no salt on roads in japan so cars probably benefit from undersealing for uk roads

Nope but if i wanted one i would buy one. People saying no rear wiper fail is that even a argument? Yes they taught you to look in your mirrors every 2 secconds. But pro tip : you need to look were your going. Espicaly in the wet!

For the record im not saying uk cars are better then jdm everybody knows its the other way round. Not just subaru toyota honda etc all do the same thing. Just people saying there rear wiper is needed just because its the only visual outside mod is funny. Its like jdm owners putting on jdm plates on there car and it looks stupid in the UK size cut out!

Whilst a bike is quite fast, it will also hurt you more when you prang it, will be **** above 60 when it's raining and forget going out in the snow.

Insurance, no you are not paying more insurance unless you live in some chav council estate, mod it to death, are a known criminal with have more points than than a bag of nails.

The speed of a JDM car is irrevant in the context of the thread and OP. But as a JDM and UK owner and having driven stuff you could only dream about I speak with a certain amount of authority.
