Now you're talking! Amazing.
I loved the fact that they were sold in old tobacconist/sweet shops. The memories!

Another to add to the list, Red ones in Quali street The Cracknell
I really like Lindt "A Touch of Sea Salt" which got me experimenting. Sea Salt ground onto a plate a Star Bar and Double Decker which had spent 5 minutes in the airing cupboard to soften them up and then roll the in the salt. Awesome

My fave bubblegum. Do you remember the paper inside with the joke printed on.
And the squidgy Bubblicious. That stuff allowed for some serious ****-off bubbles lol
And Hubba Bubba.

The 70s originals were one of my fave sweets. Can still get them, but not quite the same IMO. Not as juicy; less intense flavour.

Drumsticks. They used to make me salivate heavily in the attempt to chew the suckers... Do you remember the little teeth marks all over it lol.

It's the 20 **** a day and crate of Stella that make the taste less 'intense' to us nowadays

Thankfully, I'm a non-smoker.
And 'almost' a teetotaller. I don't dislike alcohol, I'm just not all that bothered to pursue it. Of course, I'll drink in a pub, or get lagers in during summer. Plus at Christmas, etc.
But by many blokes' standards, I'm relatively alcohol-lite lol

Another Texan fan, real treat when they brought them back a few years ago, shame it was a limited run.
Ranchero crisps, think they were bacon and beans.
United biscuits - sure these would sell well today, nothing like them out there.

Ah man, Rancheros. A heavy, smoked bacon-like flavour. They were gorgeous

Oh yeah, used to always be in my lunch box. Those little sweet nougat-like bits in it.

Christ, I wish they'd bring them back!!
I feel sorry for anyone who has not sampled this crisp range of pure delight
I really do not understand why they were stopped? May be it was all the crap MSG **** going into these snacks of that age that made them taste so good? I mean modern day ringos are not a patch on the ones I used to love
I wish I could try them all again....along with Fuse and Texan bars.......surely someone can recreate these products? I mean you have a shed load of people saying they were epic and what sounds lke a guaranteed plan to make a profit........I'm struggling to understand the logic of the companies involved in not having a go.
Anyone remember Lyons Maid Iced Tarts ? it was like an almond tart equivalent of a jam tart. From what I remember totally gorgeous
Happy Days!!

I bought a retail box of 36 cheese and onion Ringos recently lol... And you're right, not a patch on what I remember.
They used to be slightly crumbly around the edges with an intense favour. Not no more.
I agree with the business model argument. Perhaps the manufacturers are afraid they won't take off, as expected. Too much of a risk?
But Golden Nuggets are still going, after Nabisco (or are they now made by GW?) were 'pressured' by the public into bringing them back.
