I'm sure there will be a few of us from the northwest coming over too, just working on numbers but should be 3 or 4 more competitors

two quick updates take from the facebook page

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to the event being on a Friday and the nature of the event and the noise issues at elvington there has been a amendment to the noise regs.

This is now 102DB static test and also there is no tyre warming or burn outs aloud what so ever. You will have a few attempts at noise if you fail as we don't want to exclude anybody. BUT there is 0 tolerance on tyre warning and burn outs, if i'am informed of anybody doing this on the day then you WILL be asked to pack up and stop running at the event. This is a charity event and we have kindly been able to run this at short notice by all at elvington, which we are massively great full to them for allowing us this day where it should be a quiet day on there calender.

So please stick to the rules as we want it to be a fun day to remember a great man.

Hot off the press. We will be able to offer passenger ride wrist bands at this event. They will cost £20 and you will need to go to signing on to get one. This will allow you to be a passenger in any car (as long as you ask the driver of course). But if no wristband is shown you WILL NOT be allowed to go you will also need to bring your own helmet

The only car that will not be available for passenger laps is andy forrest's world record car.

I'm travelling down with 2 people. Do they have to pay £20 each if they want to be a passenger in my car? I don't have a problem with this, just want to know before hand

Also, will my band be sent out before the event or do I need a print off of receipt?

Important.

Tickets will not be sent Out due to people still entering. There is a full list of names and entries on the gate. This is so we can get as many entries as possible for the charity

its £20 per passenger if they want to run in the car and £10 each to get in the venue

If any one has a passenger wrist band, and would like a lap in a car,
I will take any one out,
Unfortunately I'm not in my sprint scoob,
Fortunately am running my Formula 27 kit car,
Unfortunately it's only a 1.3L engine
Fortunately it's a Hyabusa 12,000 rpm 1300cc engine,

Just ask for a passenger go, it's the white one, not the orange one,,,lol
It won't be the fastest, but it will be fun,, I promise,

Bez

C'mon guys, there's still places left. Get yourselfs booked on. You can pay late entry on the day on the gate.
This is going to be a great day, more importantly it's for a great great cause and in memory of someone that has done a hell of a lot for this community

Unfortunately I won't be able to be there now

Managed to get half way to York this afternoon then my shock absorber failed, so after making a few calls couldn't find a replacement up there, so had to turn round and go home

Extra annoying that I have a spare shock at home. Bugger.
