Rear fog?
Does the Newy JDM have an up-pipe cat, STI's ECU, TVG's and the 380cc (420 rated) injectors?
Don't all WRX's, save for the Hawkeye, come with a 3.166, 1.882, 1.296, 0.972, 0.738 ratio after 2003?
Are all classic gear-boxes shorter ratio'd than the Newage STI box? (shorter 1st, 4th and 5th)

We are been owners of JDM WRX Wagon
Here is it what I know:
JDM WRX comes with Up pipe with cat
JDM WRX ECU is very similar to the JDM STI ECU,there are few differences,ROM images are different and I think they have bigger memory, which will allow you to run two fuel maps(on normal WRX ECU you can't have two fuel maps when you mapping with normal mapping tools like is EcuFlash or EcuTek,not Carberry ROM)
Injectors are 440cc on the JDM WRX
Yes JDM WRX does have too TGV
AVCS are quiet similar to JDM STI,both are Big port heads and JDM WRX using different cams and I would say they're very similar to the UK STI cams and would say, they're bit lazier cams, those cams are OK for about 500bhp,beyond that I would go with different cams at least
On gearbox front I'm not sure,we are run 4EAT(autobox) on our wagon and then we are switched to PPG
Thanks,Jura

**** me this is comical... any comparison involving a WRX and an STI always seems to turn into a slanging match...
I own a WRX and will quite happily admit the STI is the better car because, in short, it is I just didn't buy one because the budget didn't allow

Shocked about the up-pipe cat, thought that was a Euro emissions thing.

Cylinder 3 recorded a 15% loss too!
Cylinder 1 down at 50% compression, Cylinder 3 at 15%, mud in my tyres on a damp drag-strip, SN members mocking my launch technique en masse and I still comfortably beat Newage STI's with 100bhp more grunt.
Dunx will tell you all about York headwinds!
