I wasn't going to put up a link, I was simply going to mention The Sword Verses. I agree with you regarding the credibility of the link you've posted.

Agreed.

I don't really understand your concluding sentence, perhaps I'm not utilising my brain.
I never said the link i posted is false. When i mention questioning the credibility i believe such websites are made by people deliberately twisting the truth, taking things out of context, etc.

I also disagree with Christmas being a time to think of the less fortunate. It is not.

The sword verses i agree with. When we are under attack, we must fight back. It's not nice but life sometimes is not.

Regarding the last comment about the brain. Never mind. Have a nice day my brother

It is for me and the Christians with whom I'm in fellowship, but broadly speaking secular Christmas does appear, for some, to be about selfishness and excess of the worst kind. It's really ugly. If you want to enjoy Christmas this year I'd like to recommend you attend a Church service, you might find it edifying.

You could ask it as a poll on a separate thread, I suppose.

Like,

Who deserves to be murdered for their faith?

Option 1- Muslims
Option 2- Hindus
Options 3- Jews
Option 4- Christians
Option 5- Non-believers
Option 6- Fence perchers
Option 7- Confused ones
Option 8- Humanists

And so on.

You may get general response from the SN posters, at least.

Here's a response worth reading:

ETA: excuse my language in that thread.

I wonder why Christians feel so compelled to try and hi-jack anything they feel furthers their pious cause? Like Remembrance Day for example.

Christians have only JUST allowed women Bishops. And still many protest against them.
They are frequently found guilty of child abuse.
They have massacred many, many thousands for being non believers.
They make vast fortunes out of others.
They try and make everyone feel guilty for having any fun.

I think I'd sooner take moral guidance from a group of crack dealers.

As Wafa Sultan puts it: "The problem with Christians is they aren't as good as Jesus. But thank God most Muslims are better than Muhammad."

If you want to be taken seriously you must start citing credible resources.

Otherwise you'll end up on loonwatch.

Ok, but what actually is it that you disagree with regards to the quote?

Since you have already made up your mind I genuinely do not consider you worthy of such a debate. The fact that you fail at basic mannerisms and clearly have not yet grasped your new found rebranded 2000 year old religion I feel you need to learn a lot more about your own beliefs before you are in a position to criticize others.
