Is 60 miles around town good for £20 worth of v power

well why dont you fit 1 pot brakes and remove all the sti bits from your car then mat??
in my opinion its a haf arsed effort of a drag car. whats the point of removing lots of weight then leaving on heavy bits like an sti spoiler?
not to make the car look like an sti surely

All that said I'll still beat any similar powered STI's by a whole second down the strip.

My car isn't fast (for a 330bhp WRX) or well modded by any stretch of the imagination. It's low on compression and runs budget tyres. I've even professed many times in being a very mediocre driver, most of the SN crowd ridicule my launches. The car isn't just laggy, Scooby Clinic said for whatever reason my Turbo is lazy and comes in a lot later than it should do. Low compression?

my 260 bhp sti 12.8, you were their as you have stated many times

The WRX is about 20% faster than an STI due to weight, higher rotational mass, extra gear change and transmission losses.
Ergo as the power levels increase in both the more power an STI needs to keep up with the WRX.
Example 1: an STI will need around 360bhp to keep up with a 300bhp WRX
Example 2: An STI will need around 430bhp to keep up with a 360bhp WRX
Power levels beyond these are expensive for both and the cars will no longer be real world performers. Both will need forging and a strong 5 speed gearbox for both will be a good argument for chasing times.

It was 430bhp.
Initially fat-thomas denied running a 12.8, saying he never got his timeslip (due to having a passenger, what ever that means)
I dug up quotes saying that he did 12.8 in June 2012 and a quote in 2013 with him saying "a Newage needs 400bhp to get into the 12's."
His mate then came on here recently confirming that his car indeed was 430bhp and furthering that he gave his WRX Bugeye to his partner Emma, which is also true.
fat-thomas is one of those guests on Jeremy Kyle who claims his wife's lie detector results are right and his are wrong.

Cut out the BS and people might start to believe your trolling.

rr printout for 2013 you were at the run in 2012
so the sti is faster than the wrx as confirmed by my 12.8 at 260 bhp
the car was stock in 2012 when you were at the run, 350 bhp is achieved on the proper impreza with just a map
