If it doesn't bother you that you've been searching for 12 months then why all the threads? I can sympathise but you have to understand that these cars are getting rarer now and finding one in perfect condition will be tough, as the majority of owners will want to hold on to their gems If you want a mint car, you'll have to pay a justified premium, imo. Like someone else said, getting a car mint and keeping it that way requires a lot of time and money, so those cars will be priced higher. Any of these cars with under 90k miles is low mileage, considering some of them are 22 years old. You cannot expect to get an ultra-low-mileage car for peanuts. Maybe lower your expectations a little and/or up your budget? The longer your search goes on, you'll only have yourself to blame as values go up and they truly become out of reach. If it were me, I'd get a company like SVA to import one, job done

Oh we care. We care that you don't understand what we are trying to say. You believe and always will that a mint, low mileage Impreza with not a mark on it, 10 minutes from your house will fall in your lap and within budget.
Can't you see how particular and unlikely your requirements are?
You said at the very beginning that this is what you wanted and time and time and again, members on here have that you really need to up your budget to be the right ball park. You obviously don't want one ' that much' as you are still searching and are not willing to either compromise or increase your budget.
Honestly, if you find one, it will be the steal of the century. But I fear you will still be posting the same topic in 6 months. Keeping an old car mint DOES cost time and money. I use mine every day and it does take more time and effort than your average Ford Focus to keep it in good condition.
But, it is my every day family car and because of that, I realise that it will get the odd mark from general wear and tear. If I kept it in the garage and washed, polished and waxed it every time I took it out, it would give me the blues. Some people, I.E. the sort of owners you are looking for, put in that extra effort. And quite rightly demand a premium when they come to sell.
That's all people are trying to say. There is no need to jump down their throat. You post a topic and people give opinions. That's how A forum works.

He obviously enjoys either the attention, increasing his post count, having a 10 pager or all of the above. I don't know why anybody bothers giving him links to cars..they will never be good enough

I know what people are telling me ive read it time and time again but it doesn't change the fact that im going to hold out for what 'i' want no matter how many people tell me im wrong. maybe ill be posting for the next 6-12months if I am then so be it..on the other hand I may find one next week who knows..me nor any of you know what will come up in the future. not once have I said or believed that the perfect impreza is just around the corner that's an observation that has been made up by everyone else.yes I know my requirements are abit high but they are 'my' requirements and If I don't find one then that's my issue isn't it. I also know what it takes to look after and maintain a car ive done so on many occasions .
I know full well how a forum works also as ive been on here long enough
also if you took time to read my threads you will notice that my budget 'HAS' increased from what it was initially

No I'm purely sticking up for myself against an internet bully. Your a tough guy behind a keyboard.
You never have anything positive to say only negative all the time. I really hope you get banned.
How did I appoint myself forum police? I just wish people would respect one another is all. Is that a bad thing?
I'm not lowering myself to your level anyway, so I will let you get back to being a pr1ck
