God, your not trying to pump your tyres up with hot air on you? Bless. Are you using a hair dryer?

Clue - dont worry , the air will heat up on its own

God knows what might happen if you try and change the air filter on your own!

I've got a big box of air for one of those!

You may joke but one of the guys that works for me just had a seized caliper on the back of his car and he asked me if it would be ok just to spray the whole brake assembly & disc with WD40 and keep driving it!

Ooops!

One of the funniest things I heard with stupidity applied to cars was when a chap I knew complained to the guys at work that his engine was getting too hot. He was told he needed to check the water level in the engine and top it up if it was too low. So he did.
He took the oil filler cap off and brimmed it with water.

I had a mate when we were 17 who topped his oil level up by running oil slowly down the dipstick hole. Had no idea the bug thing on the top of the engine did the same thing but a little easier.

He then proceded to top the oil up until he could see it in the rocker cover. oops.

Mate of mine did an oil change in his mk2 escort, tried putting 5 gallons in instead of 5 litres, took it down the road and the smoke cloud was unreal, looked like a James bond car.

LOL. Yep my mate asked me how he was supposed to get 5 gallons into the engine. I quickly corrected him!
