Nah...mine lasted over ten years. It went after I had it on and off twice, once while replacing the rad, once while installing a temperature gauge sender.

the INside was all fekked, but the OUTside was fine. Constant manipulation saw the inside cracks make their way through to the outside. It looked like someone had slashed it with a razor blade.
