I do like the new STI but the shape just doesn't work for what we need it for. If there was a comparable hatch, I'd be interested.

Just seems like a "proper" fast car with decent 4WD (not AWD), a nice engine (f reliable) and looks that appeal to me.

Okay it's behind on mpg and emissions but that's all really.

How come? the new STi has a bigger boot and more rear leg room than the hatch.

Newbie post.
Sorry for the daft question but my searches have been fruitless, I know the 2015 wrx sti is a 2.5ltr, but is it the same ej257 in older models including the rb320 etc?

Yes but according to subaru it's not but they still blow up and are being taken to court in the u.s. Over reliability issues.

Surfboards and dogs don't like saloons.

I'm v liking my 2015 STI, 6 months in and 12k on the clock. A fine and fun machine. Engine's still in one piece too!! OMG!! How is that possible? Think my MY04 blob was a bit more brutal, but that was 7 years ago so maybe it was or maybe my memory is wonky... It's the same Jekyll and Hyde device tho which is always ace.

I'm doing the no mods till warranty done too.

Noticed that some scooby drivers seem to think it's not a scooby and thus not worth acknowledging my cheery wave

exactly, it should be doomed by now surely according to the anti 2.5 brigade on here They explode as soon as they leave the forecourt

12K in 6 months that's going some I've not done 5K yet in nearly a year. To be honest i've had more attention in mine than any of the other scoobs i've had, had 1 wave off a blob driver

Yeah deffo had way more comments on it in the last 6mnths than in previous ownership across four years.

Had one chat with a blob driver in Tottenham traffic jam, and a couple of waves in 12k. Yeah, it's getting some use and every mile's a good'un

It was a UK STi PPP with 19"x8" Mille Miglia wheels, they were terribly made and one split in half about a year after being powder coated

Cor blimey!! That was a long time ago!! I finally said goodbye to that one 3 months ago with 196k on the clock and not a single engine failure to be had!! I felt like I had been discriminated against Angry
