To me the under the breath stuff isn't an accident its scripted ( little to do with motormouth) , as a means to sell the programme

Right or wrong debatable. But if it's wrong this whiter than white Mr Cohen should go

I still think the rest is publicity

If it is then it's both genius and insane at the same time. Either the BBC reinstate someone who's hit someone else, or they sack him and face the backlash.
Funnily enough I've been in the same position that the BBC are in and had to make a difficult decision.

You mean you had to face getting rid of somebody who earned your company £50,000,000 a year?

No but they are (clue) pretty essential and it was quite a complicated situation.

It is now being reported that it was Clarkson that spoke to Cohen about the fracas in the first place, not the producer.

Where? To be honest untill theres a proper statement from the BBC, it's all just speculation. Though I find it funny that the BBC are currently rehashing rumours about their own staff.

Yeah there's far too many anonymous 'sources' doing the rounds for my liking.

I don't watch 5th Gear it's atrocious. There is nothing enjoyable about it whatsoever.

More detail seems to have emerged over the 'fracas' if you were to believe the witnesses staying at the hotel who say he was being right over the top with the bullying all over food. Saying that the witnesses are bunch of women who don't like Top Gear The husband of one of them who was also there has signed the petition to keep Clarkson so I think that sums up the old nags witness 'stories' - I bet the husband gets a whack with the broom when he gets home.

The exposé in the papers about a "unnamed BBC exec" comparing Jez to Saville. I mean WTF!?

If that source turns out to be true (which it may not be...it is the tabloids), then some heads need to roll...and its not from the TG camp either.

I tell you what...if my gaffer skips lunch, all hell breaks loose. Fists have flown at various places I have worked at in the past; Luckily I have quick reactions

Once again someone on Scoobynet is wrong they're showing a rerun of what was quite a good programme about the Red Arrows.

At this stage I'm pretty sure this has all been a carefully controlled stunt, to propagate some cult interest ( im sure bits will be released at some stage ) ..

It was obvious they've been running out of ideas.

Will they be back. Who knows
