For Christ's sake it's an entertainment show, albeit with 'occasional' car reviews.

If you don't like it, don't watch it. Dead simple.
Even my wife doesn't moan as much as some of the punters posting on here.

I properly lol'd at:

* the three patient delivery systems.

* the audience member's Hamilton comment to Ricciardo.

* Clarkson slowly lifting up the dummy's dress.

Rest of it, meh.

But I except it for what it is.

The End

I was sitting in the car in my doctors car park waiting for my son and an i8 parked next to me, in the metal it looks far, far prettier than it does on screen and in magazines.

Massive improvement on last week's hopeless effort. And despite myself I still watched it, and glad I did! Liked the i8 test, and pleased not to be winched up that dam wall in a Land Rover.

There's the right idea with i8

Hardly reasonable comparison with m3 though , I mean it's not a 4 seater saloon

Pretty good episode. Loved the i8 and agree 100% with Clarkson's analogy.

Mercedes AMG GT looks reasonable and goes well enough... however that's a lot of money for a car... think it could be better spent elsewhere.

And then there's Margot Robbie... and people wonder why I am going to Aus

While we're on the subject, did anyone else notice the lass eying up May in the link before the Defender film?

The i8 report showed the Beeb at its best. Brilliant photography, very informative and entertaining.

you could tell that they had been stung by criticism on the internet - about last weeks episode

I though it was pretty good too,

the back of the Merc looked like the back of a Porsche Panamera

Yes that rear spoiler on the back of the Merc looked like some cheap black plastic, aftermarket, stick on rubbish from the 70's......really shocking.

For that money & supposedly top of the range product you would expect a flush body coloured spoiler that adjusted automatically according to speed.,

They record the audience shows pretty much live to the transmission dates. So yea all the content is filmed in prep but the studio stuff is more current... i think or Hodgy is talking out of his **** as usual
