They record the audience shows pretty much live to the transmission dates. So yea all the content is filmed in prep but the studio stuff is more current... i think or Hodgy is talking out of his **** as usual
Maybe the audience actually watch the pre-recorded bits "live" on the show - so too speak
Surely some posters have been on the show?!!
When you think about it, I bet the production staff monitor comments on social media, they prob post on PH too
Olly and Matt Clark were on it 'two weeks ago' (eps. aired on 8th Feb).
Next time I'm at RCM, I'll try to remember to ask what the deal is.
I think the live studio stuff is recorded on a Thursday for transmission on the Sunday.
Delivered some stuff once to a company on the airfield when they were hammering down the runway in some saloons (mazda6 mps, mondeo st220 and vectra vxr) a few years ago, and also went passed the pre production camouflaged mp4-12c on the a281 just outside the airfield around the time they had Jay Leno come down and test it. Slightly off topic but . . .
Definitely improving.
I'm a bit surprised at the reluctance of the three hypercar manufacturers to allow their cars around the track. I can't see the fuss as all three still live in the shadow of the mighty Veyron.
Thought the Peugeot Board meeting was funny, so was the Peugeot driving. Almost rivalled (but not quite) the Robin sketch. A damned sight better than that ambulance effort.

I though whole piece was in reference to the following advert - re a change back to form

That was really funny and to some extent quite true.
i cant believe they didnt mention the very under-rated 309 gti. my uncle had a 405 mi16..........was uber cool
309 GTI was an absolutely stonking machine, a good mate of mine had one and I'd drive it regularly, best car around at the time, but everyone was obsessed with the 205's, Golfs or Renault 5 none of which couldn't hold a candle to the 309.
The Fiat uno turbo ie was a good little machine too, I doubt you'd fit in one though, Just had an image of you sat in the boot driving one.

Sorry, you know I love you really.
Bollocks... the 205 1.6 or 1.9GTi was lighter and more chuckable around country lanes than the 309 ever was. Faster and braked alot better to boot.
