I did enjoy seeing my truck appear on top gear, albeit mine is the standard Raptor Clarkson was right about the size issue, I find most other vehicles just move out of the way

I thought it was pretty damn funny. May and Clarkson taking an age to get to the Hamster. Clarkson annoying may with his collapsed sun lights.

Used to have a thing for Gillian Anderson back in the X Files days and she still looking pretty good for her age and was well up for a laugh.

I suddenly had a bit of a revelation about TG tonight (watch on iplayer, no TV licence), its a bit like an old jumper. Its not trendy or cutting edge, not the latest thing or trying to be something its not. But its comfortable and dependable, reassuring and familiar. You feel at ease with it.

I'm falling back in love with it....

P.S. Gillian is a bit MILF now too!

Minus points

thought the canadian bit was pointless.
Non-existance of totty in the 'news' section

Plus points

some of the camera work is very stylish (e.g. The Samurai at the begining..).

Best bit -- Gillian Anderson (might just watch her again.... )

I think they need to understand weekend toys. I can't imagine many F-types will be daily drives, so it being loud would be part of the thrill, not a headache. Loved the rally cross bit though.

Was good up until the point Clarkson and Hammond turned up, then they ruined it.

Nice sneaky Falklands reference though on the news.

Oh that's so much more affordable, I better get my order in then.

I do like a bit of exotica but I do think they go a little overboard on it, even with the Rally Cross it would of had slightly more relevance if they did a piece at Clubman level, also would of prefered to see the more affordable V6 jag.

I enjoy watching it for what it is, but I do think their heads have gone a little up their own ***** a bit over the years and they could do with just bringing things down a notch or two.

But they've already done a piece at clubman level, hence why they were looking more at the pro/international level in the last episode.

Well as he's on a 'final warning' if he is any way responsible for said fracas that's it for Top Gear!

Not all bad though as this weekend's show was to feature that absolute waste of space Gary Lineker in the reasonably priced car so at least we've been saved that 10 minutes of yawnsville TV!

lol love or hate him, you have to love him a bit for being an arrogant/stubborn git in today's ridiculously PC world. I wonder if the producer is foreign?

Top Gear is not live so the programme editors have every opportunity to edit out anything that is a bit too close to the mark. Blaming Clarkson for dodgy remarks is like a newspaper editor holding a reporter responsible for bad language that gets printed. It's a complete crock of ****. If Clarkson is dropped from the programme, which will be the end of it, I hope it's for knocking a producer's teeth out. At least it will really end with a bombshell!
