dealer profit making

it not really though is it, I was informing you all about another dealer that's popped up just like Cheshire performance... and snapping up all the cars. quite informative if you didn't know about them.
his post is irrelevant rubbish that incase you all hadn't realised yet I take no notice of

another dealer I have noticed snapping up cars and reselling for a profit
http://www.pistonheads.com/classifie...-turbo/3325625
I contacted the owner of this car when it came up for sale a couple of Thursdays ago, arranged a viewing for the Saturday for me to pretty much buy it only to get a message later the same day saying it had been sold (gone have the days of a verbal agreement it seems) the guy selling worked aboard so was looking to sell the car and he priced it very reasonably indeed.. it was up for £7k.. I found out later that the guy who bought it paid £6.5k in the end for it then advertised it for £10k a coupe of hours later.. its getting impossible to compete with the traders these days
yes I know..... money talks...deposit left and all that ..blah blah.. its a thread about the dealers and there mark up on cars not about me
awaits..Fat Thomas..Trinity ect ect..

thanks, I have nothing against the guy..he went he paid for it and drove it away.. I was pointing out how difficult it is these days when you have these dealers snapping up the cars and putting a much bigger price tag on them. we all have a problem with Cheshire performance doing the same but seen as its me that's pointing out another trader has come on board and not someone else the thread has turned into a slagging match yet again

Infact everyone on the county probably know about Powerwrx and his dreams of buying a brand new subaru for 7-8k as long as its just round the corner from his house
Subaru dealers are all desperate for stock for their forecourts as no one is buying brand new subarus now and no one is buying 08 onwards subarus as they know the engines are made if cadburys finest and are keeping them after spending 5k forging them
Dealers will keep in buying up new stock and putting thier average £2500 mark up on any car they have ,maybe more to over over the costs of warrenty on 08+ modles
Subarus care going rarer with the good forged ones being kept and the good classics getting 2/3k spent on them to renovate them
Old bugs are now showing signs if rust with blobs to follow within 2/3 years as they get older
The chavs will ruin for they have now as witnessed on the many fb pages And will break for parts and that leaves
Only power wrx
There wont be any left for him to buy
But he keeps us all entertained with his wingeing threads

I used to do a bit of buying and selling over the years and was always on the lookout for a nice bargain, one that sticks in my mind was one of my XR2's bought one at auction for £700 and gone 3 days later for £1200, following week at the same auction I picked up an even better one for £600 which I kept for a few years, way I looked at it was it stood me at 100 quid , still sold it for £450 to a mate after a few years as it wasn't getting used and she was broke and desperate for a car, was still a minter and worth £800 all day, she crashed it into a bus a month later I was soooooo p1ssed, wish I still had it now.
I don't think this dealer is any different he just got really lucky this time and was probably grinning from ear to ear as he drove off in this one, just the way the cookie crumbles.

I agree.. fair play to him he turned up and drove it away.. he is all over most cars that become avaliable making offers, ive seen him doing it. Again i was only pointing out another trade company has joined the fold and its turned into the usual rubbish that most threads turn out like these days.. seems you cant post a general topic thread anymore wether it be for advice, something you have done with your own car or a wanted/ forsale thread without the same members ruining it..yes banter is banter but there a time and place for it, not on more or less every thread that is made

Its always about your search for the perfect subaru for shed money and how when you find something you won't put the effort in to go get it, and someone who is going to put the effort in beats you to it.....
Just throwing that out there homie

Has it occured to you that almost every thread you post is the same? Hence getting the same responses over and over again?

These threads are like bullying at school. The same gang of w4nkers pick on the same kid over the same thing every time. Sure the kid may not be doing himself any favours, but that doesn't make it right! Time to get a life chaps!
Good luck in your hunt powerwrx, hopefully you will have the last laugh!

No worries I see the leader of the pack has deemed me a troll just because I don't agree with ripping the p1ss out of a fellow and long time SN member. What an utter loser that **** is!

A dealer that has adequate cash reserves and storage facilities would be wise to start building up stockpiles of good Subaru modles
Wish I had kept my XR3i / RS Turbo from 25 years ago in the garage instead of a few old cycles and lawn mowers and general rubbish that you collect over the years
