I have a simtek as fitted by JGM a few years ago and recently have fast idle problems. Where would I need to go and who can do the up-grade for me?.. cheers

They are now known as AlcaTek

Sometimes you are best off getting your mapper to deal with them. As they often in the past have had a backlog of SimTeks to upgrade.

I think it is the first 60 SimTeks are not upgradeable, or was it the first 30, very early ones anyway, but you will be pretty unlucky to have one of those.

The upgrade also has Knock control as well. The origonal SimTek only had Knock correction

Thanks Steve, any recommends for mapper in south-east? Simon fitted and mapped mine about 5 years ago, not been touched since. Cheers
