Hay guys quick update . Car has been moted and to my suprise only failed on welding and my ice white L.E.D bulbs for some reason they showing a lot of blue . But other than that ma girl solid . I expected more cause of her being stood 7 years through all weather's . But happy days just welding to go now
My girl finally road legal her sill was quite bad but she done and been shilzed however spelt hahah. I'll post pics up . We have also buffed her a bit and looks a bit better still lot to do on body tho but she runs a dream can't help but drive her now .
Glad you're getting her all sorted
Don't want to sound negative but you really want to take the metal further back than that to get rid of all the rust before welding plates in there, the rust holes will be back in no time if not.
Thanks . Yer she's special . Soon as saw her even in state she was I had to rescue her . I have to say I've gained more joy out of her than have any other car but the main thing a scooby was my dream car as a kid so having her makes it extra special
When we got her she did 38,888 miles . But cause had to put new engine in that's done over 100,000 . Bit gutted couldn't save old engine we we could but would of cost a fortune to sort bottom end out .
Hay guys well she did very well yesterday . I risked taking her jap 2 jap and did fantastic she even got up to 80 mph but slowed down couldn't believe how quick she is . Had to keep an eye on her lol . Was nice drive . Defo happy
