Gear head......

Not much more than the competitors.

Did as much research as possible before deciding. Literally just got my car back from enginetuner and to quote matyn "you're brakes are spot on".

Didn't he brakes, gearbox, suspension etc before the engine. No point in being able to go fast if you can't stop fast

Tarted up standard Legacy spec.B 316mm brakes

Unfortunately the paint bled through the decals after getting 'a little hotter than usual' on a track day

The AP 7040 calipers have been very good for years though

That looks like the WRC spares stand in rally car day to me

Bought these a few months ago as I have been trying to make a big brake kit for my T5 van for the last couple of years , I did get a pair of Porsche GT3 front calipers to make a kit , but someone seen them and made me an offer to make a kit for his M3 that I couldn't turn down lol

These are off an AUDI R8 , and fitted to a few other cars , Lambo's and Merc's , They are a Brembo 8 pot caliper with 4 pads per caliper , they dwarf the AP 6 pots we have here

The funny thing is that I asked you a while back about making a kit up for these very calipers to fit to my car, the set that I was looking at were on eBay for about £650 at the time I asked you.

I never got a response back so I didn't bother, by the way I am still awating a call back about a set of CL pads for the AP calipers I ended up buying (you wanted to confirm pricing for then pads just to jog your memory).

But please don't bother coming back to me now as I went to AS Performance and bought a set from him, because he DID give me a return call when he said he would.
