Well Lane RR day final list

He did indeed.
359 IIRC but he was having inlet troubles - collapsing under the huge vacuum of that special turbo
So he only saw about 1 bar boost
What could it have been at the 1.8 it's dialled for

Nice one Rich, fab day once again
Filled up with ONLY Optimax on the way home and dropped the boost back down to 1.5bar.... going like a rocket again, just goes to show don`t it, if it aint broke, dont try to fix it!
Ditto Harvey, was good to meet up with old and new faces alike, even if you dont run, these events are certainly not to be missed!
Rich.
P.S. Anyone want to buy some cheap octane booster??

Hi everyone!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the comments.
I'm gonna be organising another very soon, probably aiming for October and the colder weather
Well done everyone also, we got some impressive figures today especially Christian's 359bhp and 323lbsft at 1.0 bar!!!!
What a car! What impressed me most about it was the fact that it seemed strong as low as 2000 rpm.
Alan, you are top of the list for the next one m8
Full results and piccies later today.
Cheers
Rich
Also impressive was Simon's 277bhp from a standard STi7. Well done.
And I must mention my bro who got 245bhp from a decat and filter but due to a problem with his boost controller on the day was only maxing at 0.7 bar. A few tweaks back home and he's holding 1.1 so, his figures would probably have been much better.

Water Injection not yet completed, so I got the 360bhp on Bobs mapping ability! - must say its a lot more powerful than the last run - but you can ask Bob or mail me on what he's done.
Dont feel that the WI will increase the power - more make it safer and give a bit more oomph lower down - was running at about 1.25bar of boost in 4th gear....
Was quite a bit of competition - RichiW decided to increase boost levels and have another go - 355bhp second timne round - better luck next time!,although I suspect that if I'd have got only 342bhp he would not have bothered
Noticed a problem with my aps front mount pipes - Harvey had wrapped his - and was showing low temps - my temps were quite high on the rollers - suspect this wont be so much of a problem as it gets cooler

nice one steve. great figures.
not taking the pi55 here and I know you will think I am, but when you went to well lane last time then took it down to pe, didnt the figure drop significantly?
with this in mind, can you please put up the relative before pe well lane figures and the pe figure on the same state of tune?
I thought the pe rollers read high, I am just wondering if the well lanes rollers read even higher.
it is nice to see you finally gettign what you wanted from the car power wise.
360 is an awesome result. what was the torque?
and has anyone else got figures for well lane and pe on the same car in the same state of tune?

I will take it along to PE soon. The car is not comparable at all to the PE day
New Clutch - to replace slipping one
New up-pipe - to replace damaged one
New Actuator for the turbo and adjusted to 0.8 bar
New Downpipe, new mid and rear exhaust section
Uprated fuel pump
Several remaps
As far as the numbers go I suspect that the Well Lane BHP numbers to be 15bhp more than PE in normal circumstances - but we'll see!
I did have a slipping clutch at PE - dont care what anyone thinks -and no its not an excuse...
Torque was 299 - This was not working properly (they reckoned) although I dont think it would have been hugely out!
I got 335lbs last time, which as you would expect is ridiculously high!
I reckon if I wrapped the pipes (the aps ones) and took it back to PS I'd get a higher number than last time - 330bhp - will see what I can achieve at PE at some point
Whens the next RR day at PE?

Cheers Steve
Odd though......
I run water injection which sprays inside the intake pipe to the throttle body ( about a foot and a half in distance before TB)and when activated the pipe is bl**dy freezin' , so don't see why the pipe should be lagged.
Where have you fitted the nozzle(s), do you use water inj for cooling and / or det control?
